With mortal life beginning to grow again on Obscure, it's quickly decided that governing bodies needed to be put into place, as the old society's ways of ruling have been long forgotten. A new age of immortals step up to the task, forming the United International Astronomical Council. The organization begins with two members and slowly grows to eight... and now nine! Eris, a sharp, problem-solving mind who is able to harness magic that allows him to create shadow creatures and speak to the dead, is the newest member of this government. As the child of a mortal and an immortal, he's always been seen as an outcast, and unfortunately, those on the Council see him no differently. Delegated to the role of a glorified secretary, he intends to prove himself through hard work and dedication to the government's core values. But when conflict arises and his workload increases tenfold, will this tough cookie crumble under pressure?
