CATACLYSM OF THE CONDUITS

In the prime of their careers, Buffee, Alfie, Dalfon, and Fumiko Conduit were proudest achievements and greatest contributors to a group called The Sons of Adam; scientists intent on synthesizing new forms of angelic life. They've since left this life behind to settle down and start a family. Taking what they've learned over the course of their history as biological innovators, they set out create the children they always wanted but could hardly imagine having before. Trial and error leads them to having 5 wonderful children. They are absolutely flawless, it seems to all others, especially to their parents. The Conduits are a perfect, happy family: no other questions asked, nothing less expected, always remaining well behaved and always acting just right. But when one's structural integrity is weak at best, cracks will soon begin to show, and hiding them doesn't stop them from getting worse. "Compos mentis--" a Latin phrase meaning "having control of one's mind," which also just so happens to be the Conduit's family motto. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen.
