shu sect

the shu sect is led by shu haiyang, a powerful cultivator whose heart of gold made his sect renowned for its tolerance and acceptance. the sect moved away from being a bloodline-based clan to a more school-based sect, as haiyang saw potential in the 'commoners' and 'othered people' who were often ignored and turned away. with the help of his husband, jikan, and his head disciples, shu fan (his adopted daughter) and ning shui, the sect holds its own as a place where anyone has a chance to become an incredible fighter.

shan sect

the shan sect is led by shan jingxuan, a formidable woman whose presence is rivalled only by her strength. despite her refined cultivation powers, she chooses not to fight unless pushed to do so, instead focusing her efforts on fostering vibrant markets in the mountaintops she calls her home. the sect is known for accepting only women into their wings, giving them the opportunity to pursue what passions they may have. despite this, the mountains and its ocean views welcome anyone... though it does help the sect greatly to do a little commerce.

xiang sect

the xiang sect is led by [insert name here], who took over the responsibilities of the actual sect leader given his penchant to drink and sleep around rather than be a leader. under his leadership, the sect is known for its hospitality, making them very popular with minor sects who often need assistance. the xiang sect, however, is not all it seems. disciples often act as spies, gaining information that is relayed back to [insert name here] and used for nefarious purposes. nobody, not even the other sects, are safe from their bloodied, meddling hands...

the unknowing realm - city

the world of demons is a brutal and ruthless world. a demon who wishes to succeed must kill and rise to top or be killed, or they can leave the realm and hope for success in the outside world. the strongest of the demons is crowned the ruler, which is currently ren jinzhen. the ruler controls the entire domain, and the decision as to whether to plunge the world into chaos or temper the fires is entirely up to them. under ren jinzhen, demons currently experience something resembling peace, but this does not stop chaotic agents from trying to disturb the order and come for the throne. the demon king, however, usually dispenses of them with relative ease.
