Life Update

I update my Trello weekly with how I’m doing/etc but for those of you who do not know where to find updates on your commissions it’s here: https://trello.com/c/fB1c1YHb

I will make this blunt as I have no other way of saying any of this. I have had the worst 2023 ever so far: along with fighting my own illness, still not being able to find a cardiologist that will take my health insurance, and general work stress, I have lost 2 grandparents within a week of each other in January. I now have my maternal family emergency flying overseas to Vietnam to be with my popo tonight as it looks like he will not be pulling through. It’s barely been a month since my other grandmas’ passing and I feel like I’m losing it all. I do not have a good relationship with any of my (abusive) family besides my grandparents who have actually taken care of me and shown me love, so it’s been very difficult.

I apologize for being so hard to get a hold of these days. It’s hard for me to hold conversations and between bad things happening and working I have not had adequate time to process any of my feelings. I am doing my best to work on my queue but it’s been very hard. I appreciate all of the patience.

Hey- realized I haven’t really made a proper life update bulletin anywhere besides my trello, wanted to let y’all know I am taking a bit of a break from my comm queue due to two back to back family deaths. I’m trying to balance grieving and getting back into the swing of working full time, but as y’all can imagine I’m drained and struggling mentally. I’m hanging in there rn but I do think the break is needed.

feel a bit bad about it bc I know it takes me a long time to finish art, but my life has gone so downhill in the last few months, this was the cherry on top (for lack of a better way to put it).

Thanks for being patient with me and sorry for being hard to reach lately. It’s hard to do anything these days, but I’m hoping it’ll get better soon. Have a nice weekend!
