gives good head scratches but he wouldn't admit it
His darling dearest, his warm cup of coffee, his spark, his flame.
"I don't know much about him yet. He's my coworker, can't say much else."
She's my coworker. What about it?
A loyal subject, and quite honestly, the only person who knows him so deeply. Demetreus is so grateful for Elio that he'd lay down his life for him--if it weren't for the crown over his head. He trusts Elio more than he trusts himself, and makes that known when he leaves decisions to his beautiful friend... The one who protects his life, goes everywhere he does, Elio has earned his place in Demetreus' heart.
There isn't anything he wouldn't do for Elio; he'd risk it all for that light at the end of the tunnel.
The initial guilt of being caught sneaking into the Vampire College certainly is long gone, but the contempt isn't! Even if Leigh is really fuckin' annoying sometimes, with his stupid leash and his stupid vampire powers, Malek thinks he's awfully fun to poke fun at. He's totally got his own style and definitely likes running free, but he'd admit that staying in and getting belly rubs from a vampiric prince is pretty nice, even for a wolf himself.
Her noble prince, and a dear childhood friend... After years of leave led by her mother, Esther is proud to be by Khione's side again. Her stoic demeanor drops the moment they're in private, and her gentle, more compassionate side finds it's way to her actions and words. She resents that she feels romantically for Khione, aware that it would compromise her work as an aide and guard, so she hides it from him and the rest of the world. Her love for Khione drives her to protect him, but in a rare moment of doubt, she wonders if that makes her selfish.
Quite frankly, Demetreus doesn't particularly care about Khione. Not only do they know little of each other, Demetreus could count on one hand how many times they've met at treaties that went south. The upcoming one will be big, their kingdoms meant to become allies, but Demetreus knows his family is not truly in agreement; King Lockwood is ill much like his only son, and Demetreus feels only a little pity for the two of them.
