Hey there, since I know a large portion of the users on this site are role players and writers, I’m wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations on apps, sites or forums for rp. It’s always been a comfort hobby of mine and I often hear stories about other artists talking about the expansive worlds they’ve made with their rp partners they’ve had for multiple years, and often times I find myself wishing “wow, I wish I could do that!” I’m not new to role playing, LARP and tabletop are some of my favorite hobbies, but when it comes to text based rp groups or even tabletop groups I find myself losing interest quickly or not being able to respond soon or make it to meetings, either due to stress or homework or just creative blocks. I’ve also only ever roleplayed in fandom groups and like, I tend to change hyperfixations or lose interest after a while in those. I’m just realizing that I really want to try Role-playing again, and I’m wondering what sites people even use for it anymore. If anyone has any advice for me please let me know. I miss this hobby and I want to get back into it. My only requirement is to avoid recommending sites that are strictly NSFW as I’m a minor and am not currently interested in joining those kinds of groups. Other than that any advice on finding rp partners or groups would be much appreciated.
