Other Godthings
Within the spoiler is a detailed description of the functions of the godthings' purpose and society. Reading this is beneficial to fully understanding the inner workings of their world.
While humans are humans, godthings are those who monitor the progress of those humans.
Godthings spend their time guiding human beings through life... they are essentially the voice inside your head. They call each human they are assigned to their 'client'. When that client's life ends, the godthing is assigned to a new client. Godthings, in this case, live and die with the planet Earth itself. Godthings only work for humans, which were the decided superior race (a choice made by a higher power named Destiny) when the Earth was created.
All of the characters in this folder with one or more apostrophes within their name, or with a name in all caps, were granted their name for a specific reason (minus SIMERULER and TIC, whose names I will explore in greater detail later on). Godthings' names are added on to with each 'remarkable life' they lead. For a job well done, they get an apostrophe and another 1-2 syllable segment added to their name. This can continue on for a long while. Take Fre'sa, for instance, whose full name is actually Fre'sa'tef'jef'hey'un'me'un'sal'mon'gerié. Fre'sa themself is one remarkable life away from ascending and becoming a member of the high council of the land they live on. When this happens, they will receive a shorter name in all capital letters (OTHERPOWER, for example, is a high council member). SIMERULER has their name in all caps because they are a shadow god; the godthing that is the assistant to the god that rules over each world. TIC's name is an acronym. As you can see, there are a few special cases, but for the most part, godthing names are pretty short and basic.
