Vizon's magic is quite useful, and Arianwyn has used her portal services on multiple occasions now. Overall, she finds the portal-maker cordial enough, and respects another loyal Order mage.
I respect her ambition and pride. She's not only a competent individual, but a highly powerful mage and a successful monster slayer. The kids would call her a "girlboss."
Only Odie is allowed to call her Aspid.
Her Aspid—made it home to her in spite of it all.
off being useless and adorable (together)
(the beloved useless² pair.)
A charmer, sure, but not Enn’s type, so perhaps that isn’t the most effective here. But Magnus does his job well, and Enn respects the hussle.
Something something I keep collecting angry birds around me.
Arianwyn once mistook the strange, silent mage for a monster, though she realized her mistake quickly. She is grateful they fight on the same side-- her magic is intimidating, and Wyn would hate to have Labrea as an enemy. That being said, she wishes the tar mage would stay out of her way in hunts. Yet, after a few fights together, she has come to find comfort in the familiarity of Labrea, even if she'd never voice it out loud.
Hm I don't think she likes me. Seems angry that I killed the Crone before she could. Why does it matter who killed it, as long as it died fast?
She fought the Pyre as well, with ferocity and power! Always exciting to see her being fierce, and I'm glad she's a monster hunter. She was much more effective than me this time around, which I appreciate. Something makes me afraid to land the killing blow again and I'm happy for her to have the glory instead.
Corraine often felt the odd one out during her time at Namarast, and the classes she shared with Arianwyn were no exception. She disliked being looked down on by a younger, arrogant student. Mages like Arianwyn are why Corraine chose to leave the Order behind.
Overlapped with Corraine in a class or two at Namarast. Arianwyn didn't care much for the shy older student, and wondered what use the Order would possibly get out of someone who didn't seem to care to train her own magic.
Ex student at Namarast, used to quite enjoy her company. While a fungus is maybe not exactly a plant, it is just a natural organism, and thus helped Corraine study her magic. Of course the whole smelly fungus thing wasn't Andel's favorite either, but tried to cover that up the best he could. Wonders about on occassion.
A former teacher at Namarast, Arianwyn found comfort in Andel's teachings. He challenged her conception that her magic is a curse, instead viewing it as natural, organic. Though this is a lesson of his that she has yet to fully embrace, she is grateful for the time she spent in his teachings, and for the patience he showed for her magic. He is one of the few people in Namarast to whom Corraine feels any remaining connection, and she would probably stop by to talk if she happened to be in the area.
