"Soft.."
Reminds her so much of Nana, but without the bitterness of being her reflection. She appreciates her so much.
"What a darling!"
Mitzy thinks Rue is as cute as a button. She loves showering her in compliments and making her feel worth something. Truly adores her.
"Really, thank you"
Ring of keys moment...Rue really looks up to Cal. Such a chivalrous and kind woman. Really someone Rue wants to be one day.
"Good kid"
Cal's really fond of Rue and very happy to have her around. They have a lot of fun chatting with one another.
"Genuinely, shut the fuck up"
Can't stand Xenia one bit. She finds her to be a generally unpleasant person even outside of the weird flirting and pushiness to involve herself with Rue and Angie's relationship.
"A cute one. Annoying, but cute"
Xenia just thinks Rue's a plaything. Partially in the way of Angie, too, which makes it a bit worse- although who doesn't like getting someone like Rue all flustered?
"...difficult"
Rue's scared of Vendetta. Rue's not the type to hurt people, and can't understand people who do- which is why Vendetta freaks her out. But she know's that Vendetta isn't always a threat, if that means anything.
"Who?"
Vendetta really doesn't care about Rue in the slightest. Their very few encounters mean not much to Vendetta, outside of what amusement it brought. Roughing Rue up on behalf of Maggie for a couple hundred bucks is great, but Rue herself? Nothing outstanding.
"She's making an attempt"
Richie was the only person Rue really had growing up, but Richie wasn't really able to escape all that their family pushed. It left Rue with a bitter taste in her mouth, wanting to escape once more, but that doesn't mean they aren't grateful for all she's done.
"She just doesn't get it"
Richie still believes in a lot of what their family did, and it left a lot of tension between them. Richie really thinks Rue doesn't get it, and continues to feel strong betrayal over Rue leaving without a word.
"Fucking bitch"
Rue can't stand Maggie. Thinks she's creepy, rude, dangerous, and a genuine monster- not that they're wrong. Sometimes she can't help but feel bad for Maggie, rotting alone in her dingy basement of a home...but that's what Maggie's earned.
"Such a treat"
Maggie loves Rue. It's nasty, toxic, and horrid- but it's love, she thinks. A love that'll let her do whatever the hell she wants if she puts her mind to it. She just wants Rue to love her all the same, including the pain.
"Couldn't thank her enough"
Rue feels like she's in eternal debt to Nana. Can't think of a thing she could do that could repay her for all she's done, so she just spends her time trying to make Nana's final days as comfortable as she can. It's hard for Rue.
"An angel of a monster"
Nana feels so much love for Rue. It's bittersweet, since it's so hard when she always sees herself in Rue, but she wouldn't change a thing about them.
"She's good to me"
Rue knows Honey's anxieties around her and it makes them feel bad, but Honey hasn't been anything but sweet to her, so she can't take it to heart all that much.
"Rue's...kind"
Honey had a rocky relationship with Rue. Mostly one-sided, though, as she swapped between hating and loving Rue every other year. The love is always there, though, it just gets drowned out at times.
"She's my entire world"
Rue has been absolutely head over heels for Angie since she first saw her on stage. Gentle, fulfilling, and sweet love.
"I'd kiss her all day if i could"
Angie feels nothing but butterflies around Rue. Filled to the absolute brim with love, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
