Happened some point after the Chaos Saga on Sonic X, Leona had taken over the crashed Egg Carrier and made it her own. After repairing Dr. Eggman's former flying fortress enough for it to fly to the Mystic Ruins, she had then started repairing Gamma.
Leona's group had successfully acquired the Blue Chaos Emerald by having a robot steal it from Amy underwater while everyone was distracted with Dr. Eggman and his robot on episode 16 of Sonic X. Right now, she's currently designing a new robot.
