Ok get mad at me but like so long as said “off brands” of closed species are being made for just like. One person to have fun and they aren’t being resold or some shit there’s no problem. If it makes you uncomfortable, maybe assess why, and what about it makes you uncomfortable - because so long as it’s just some person trying to have fun they shouldn’t be beaten down lol
I believe, as artists, people should have some reign of freedom to have fun (not in a drawing feral porn way that’s really gross / straight up STEALING) but it’s kinda concerning how some people viciously sic people on someone taking inspo or something. There’s always a line between inspo and stealing, and always a proper way to deal w/ it.
Offbranding for sale is a shit move, imo. That? THAT is disrespecting the artist. But making your own, for your own comfort, hell, just to have fun, is not. In fact, it’s a compliment - they admire you and what you do.

So, you found a character of mine you want to offer on? First of all, check to see if said character is in a folder, or you have seen me explicitly state I am alright with you offering on them. Now, lets say you didn't want to pay with money, but rather in art or characters? Depending on the character, I'm fine with that! However, I may be picky!
I like: - Monsterish, Gory designs - Designs that don't depend too much on real life animals - High quality art. This does not mean art from a well known artist - you will have to dm me with examples - Scpkid characters - Cupidcrying characters - Megafavna designs!
I do not like: - Purely furry designs
