Valentine won't let the insult and complete ruination of her careful plan go so easily. Tess is going to get hers, painfully, no matter if Val has to track her down through the galaxy to do it. She's petty.
Tess was the getaway pilot for an operation that went south, so she bailed. She didn't know that Valentine was the one in charge of it. She's earned her ire, and now Tess just has to watch her back. Valentine ain't shit.
Zero was tasked by a rebel group to locate and detain Aria, but it didn't go as planned.
He finds her quizzical and complex, sharper than she lets on and oddly.. very sad. She's in a difficult position, and he decides the last thing she needs is to get carted off to some group like cargo.
At first he tries to keep to his usual routine of "keep quiet and keep watch", but he finds it too easy to talk to her, and she is all to curious about him. He lets down his guards, and through their adventures becomes attached to her. He hasn't been completely honest with her, both in his feelings and the reason why he came to her, and one day he'll have to be truthful about both.
She's never seen someone like Zero before, and she first saw him while rather drunk at a club. She embarrassed herself and then he showed up the next morning to whisk her out of reach of her assassins. Suddenly she has a bodyguard. Despite getting the impression that he wants to keep their relationship professional, her fondness quickly grows, and she finds herself destined to break her own heart. Aria is crazy about Zero and his cool sensibilities, humor, and willingness to change. He represents safety and stability. But she shouldn't even think of dating in her position, and it's a miracle he's stayed this long anyway.
Naomi was someone he was quick to write off until he was forced to spend time with her. Her staunch belief in justice and compassion surprised him again and again. She has a brilliant mind and a shining heart, and their meeting feels like fate cheating death. He wants to show her everything while they both still have time.
To Naomi, Silvio's situation is incredibly unfair and unjust. He's an asshole, he's frustrating and acts so lofty sometimes, but he's also.. scared. She can't believe how someone who seems wrapped up in so many layers of bullshit can stand to treat her with any kindness or generosity, and she feels compelled to provide for him that same emotional comfort. She wants to be taken along for his adventures, wherever it takes them.
