i prooobably won't be able to upload new designs or redesign these older ones for a month or two, so this is one last push to get some of these guys home before i go on design hiatus <3 thank you!!

as u can probably tell, i'm trying to redesign & update a bunch of my old adopts! 

and a bunch of my old designs are kittydogs. i think interest in the species has waned, and i was just wondering if i'd be better off fully redesigning any kittydog adopts to be just kitties and dogs.

i just wanted to pop in and make sure i could give an. actual full update for why i haven't been around the last few months, and have extended my custom raffle.

asides from running an adopt account (this one) mostly for fun, i do actually have like, a bit of an actual art career! and said career has been taking a LOT of big steps lately, which is very cool! but has also kept me really, really busy.

i'm also disabled, and i've been having a lot of health stuff come up at the same time, which is fun. i'm okay, it's just a lot to juggle!

i really appreciate everyone's patience with regards to me-posting-new-stuff. i definitely plan to make a comeback at some point, hopefully in september! i'm pretty much booked til the first week, but after that, i plan to hopefully come back with some new designs and a return to weekly raffles. and fingers crossed, a return to my bulletin freebies too!!

if not, hi, welcome!! i'm vamp and i love drawing in kidpix, a children's drawing program from the early 2000s. no joke, it is 1000% what sparked my lifelong love of digital art. 

that being said, it's bad. it's a bad program. it's so low quality and dated and touchy and i love it <3 here's a bulletin of some art/requests i did in it a while ago as examples!!

kidpix is really good for weirdcore/liminal space/geocities/old internet/ena/90s-2000s nostalgia feels, if that's your kind of jam! if not, i can try other aesthetics!

these will be simple, small, messy designs, due to the limitations of the program- but they are also free... and if you don't like them you don't have to keep them, i won't be offended! it's just a funky lil prompt.

also, i can't guarantee a custom for everyone, depending on how many people ask- i'll try to get to as many as i can, but please don't be mad if i miss yours!

3x3, so 9 shades, if they have a detailed backstory/i'm more familiar with them i might even name the shades!! but no promises :)

just a note at the very beginning of this - i'm moderately disabled, and i have a lot of "brain fog" today. basically i'm in a lot of pain that's making it hard to keep my thoughts very straight. i'll try to make this make as much sense and be as not-rambly as possible lol <3

so uhh i have a long-running design challenge thing where i do breedables!! basically i have a bunch of stock parents, people request combinations of species/parents they'd like to see, and i design a batch of 6 "offspring" designs based on the combo!! here is the link to the original post!!

the bases i use for the "root" designs, and have used for the offspring so far, are really simple/lq. not to dig at them, i just know people usually look for more in adopts, which is why i'm gonna be shifting the way i do breedable designs + results!!

i'm going to continue using the featherfell + paw kitten bases for the preliminary designs- once the batch of 6 is done on those bases, they'll go up for pre-claims at 3 tiers!

bronze: the design, as-is. good for if you want to redesign them yourself! the least picky tier.

silver: a higher-quality feral version of the design, where you tell me the things you want changed/added!

gold: like silver, but for an anthro furry design instead of feral!

they'll stay up for pre-claims for 2-4 weeks, and whoever from the batch is leftover will get whatever redesign i want to give them lol

i'll probably set monetary auto-buys for each tier, but i'll still be accepting art + trade offers as always!! i'll just be a bit pickier for gold + silver claims than bronze ones, if that makes sense.

i'm trying to make and use my own bases for the design updates, but i'm not sure if that'll be possible for all of the designs, especially depending on time frames + how much i want to expand and add options like different body types and features to each base. it's a big ol wip!

anyway!! that's how i see running my breedable designs going forward, and this brings me to my next quick point: final chance to pre-claim the following 6 designs!!
