lighter lived from a neglectful and unloyal household as a child until they ran away from home when it was sixteen where they eventually, with the help of coworkers, got out of homelessness and into an apartment. they find a certain alien roomie out on the streets one day and takes her in free of charge . . . said roomie eventually convinces lighter to go on a certain reality tv show that she had once partaken in, urging them to meet new people. and meet new people it did! now with the help of their girlfriend, they're learning how to relax and trust and let others take care of them instead of it always being the other way around.
PARTY HORN
party horn loooves to make people smile! she's a clown and an acrobat who was taken in by the circus and raised her from childhood after she was abandoned by her birth parents. outside of the costume, though, she's a total loser. she has no idea how to socialize with other people without the whole clown thing as a crutch and she's autistic as hell! she was meant to be killed after being trapped in a weird murder party, but she managed to escape alongside a very beautiful woman who she loves so very much. not without a good couple stab wounds though...
FAIRYFLOSS
fairyfloss has always struggled to find their place in the world. it's hard to find where you belong when everyone else seems to operate differently than you do! his main source of income has always been working and performing at children's birthday parties and other events. fairyfloss struggles with the idea of 'growing up' immensely and finds comfort in typically 'childlike' aspects to cope with most things. also bro's a little goat. unfortunately fairyfloss was convinced (manipulated?) into taking the role as mafia at a murder mystery party after her paranoia was taken advantage of by a certain someone. he struggles with the guilt a lot and tries to keep to themself in her place most of the time.

thread is a famous fashion designer! probably one of the biggest names in fashion right now. he loves art and he loves design and he poors his whole being into his work. unfortunately that makes him a little... spoiled in other aspects. he's far from the most agreeable person you'll meet-- he's got a huge ego and he's a total brat. but his fame isn't undeserved. in fact, thread worked his way up from the bottom to get here! he was just a little spoiled as a kid and making it big time didn't really help that. his parents love him and he's got a stupid gay rich nepo baby boyfriend.
TASER
taser's been through a whole lotta. born into a cult, she was always their 'problem child' due to his natural childhood curiosity and rebellious nature. his guardians never allowed him much freedom, so she found ways to take it himself. after having all of his support systems stripped away from her, taser believes the world and everyone in it is out to get him-- if she isn't hurting others, others will hurt him. he rejects any sort of vulnerability and overall she's a total control freak and keeps getting into relationships just to control the other person. it's not good. after her last breakup taser's slowly learning that maybe some people really do have genuine intentions and maybe not everyone's gonna get her. while his actions can't be undone, he's slowly relearning who she is outside the defenses he puts up one day at a time.
