Hello, I'm Moss (or Thistle)! I'm autistic and a biology major (specifying in ecology and evolution), and on the weekends I volunteer to remove invasive plants. In my free time, I'm an author, artist, worldbuilder, poet, and casual photosynthesizer. Also definitely not a plant why would you think that? Feel free to reach out to me at any time; i welcome most conversation (although I'd rather not DM people under 16 or over 20 unless it's for commissions/codes or if I already know you)!
Currently my main interests are bird intelligence, Undertale/Deltarune, Homestuck, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Amphibia, and Wings of Fire. Also, I enjoy practicing guitar and playing chess. I have a green-cheek conure named Roger, and I used to have a cockatiel named Piper. I'm excited to continue sharing my work here; please have fun and enjoy your stay!
COMMISSIONS
Commissions are currently open at all time and are first come first serve. Trades are semi-open; i have the right to decline if i'm not interested or (most likely) don't have enough energy to draw. In general, I would prefer commissions to trades unless i'm specifically looking for art. Requests are currently closed.
CHARACTERS
I make premade character adopts on a semi-regular basis; they're only whatever comes to mind so they may not be that diverse. I also take design commissions; these would be more personalized to your taste, but still in my art style. Currently i only take usd or art for character designs.

I love writing fantasy-adventure stories with non-human creatures as the main characters. All of the main books i write are set in a single world known as Akelde. Currently, the Toyhouse world is not updated, so please ask directly if you would like to hear more about the worldbuilding! I'm (sometimes) working on The Akelde Project, a worldbuilding document detailing almost everything you'd need to know about the magic, creatures, and natural history. Currently most stories set in this world are on hold since I've been working on something else...Recently I've begun work on a comic called Off the Air, where the egotistical failed showrunner Kade is zapped to the world of his dreams... but there's more at stake than he ever could've realized. Expect to see some ref sheets soon and more announcements as I get closer to starting the script (and eventually the full release date...). Also, feel free to ask to be an insider for Off the Air to get updates on everything (and extra information!) earlier.
