Tapirs are creatures that devour dreams and nightmares. They start as nightmares and take the form of a tapir. They gain consciousness during the dreams, like the dream is happening but it doesn't want to end so it lasts and becomes a tapir and infest people's dreams. They absorb their energy through the dream-owner where either Tapirs seduce them to have sex or hunt them down as a prey. It is possible for them to change their target into someone else by going through a mirror. If two people standing in front of a mirror, Tapir will have the chance to leave the original dream-owner and go into the other person's dream. 

If a Tapir stays in one person's dream for way too long the dream-owner will very likely never wake up from the dream and eventually die in reality. Tapir can take over the dream-owner's body who has passed away that caused by getting devoured in the dream, which will result them having human form body. (If they devour mermaid-like creature they will have fish tail too!)

Kiwis

Kiwis are considered as Tapir's early form, however sometimes you can see a Tapir holding a kiwi that looks like themselves as well. You don't know it is actually the Tapir itself, or Tapir's younger sibiling, or they are just holding them because they are lonely. Boy kiwi has no eyelashes and girl kiwi has eyelashes, but some boy kiwis also have eyelashes, that is Kiwi in drag, so it doesn't really matter. They are just cute.

Horns｜Ears｜Tails｜Multiple Eyes｜Chakra

Cone → Wave → Curve → Spiral → Mutate
N/R/SR → SSR → EXR

The longer it looks, the rarer it is. However short horns are also considered uncommon. Possible mutations include spiky or deer-like shapes, this is your EXR card.

Flat → Uppy → Droppy

Honestly all types are consider normal card, HOWEVER, same thing the longer it is the rarer! 

Each tail is different from another depends on what kind of dream it associated with the Tapirs. Normal/Rare card will be smoky and flamey tails. SR to SSR cards will include objects in the tail such as flower/candy/eyes/etc. No Tail Tapir is considered EXR card.

Multiple eyes are consider SR cards, not extremely rare but also not that common,
a Tapir with multiple eyes means they have devoured their dream owner and awaken from the original dream, which means they already have physical human body.
A Tapir without multiple eyes are also able to have human body too.

Oh god what is this.
Well, the more purple you have the rare it is. Red is your N card, Purple is your SR card. There is no black and white Tapir I'm sorry but you can put your Tapir into B/W mode so you'll have a black and white tapir.

Q: What is consider as N/R/SR/SSR/EXR card?

A normal card Tapir will have one of the horn type above excluding the spiral and mutated type, one of the ear type above, both with normal length. Having smokey or flamey tails with galaxy/sparkles in it.
A Rare card Tapir will have everything above but ONE rare traits, lets say he will have a smokey tail with candy in his tail, that will be a rare card.
A SR card will have everything above but TWO rare traits, vice versa, SSR card will have three rare traits!

EXR card Tapir will have mutated traits, however they might still have normal traits on their other body part.

The percentage of each card will be 50% N｜30% R｜15% SR｜4% SSR｜1% EXR

Most of the Tapirs you see right now are either N or R card. My Tapir Sin has a Thymus Chakra which does not shown on the Chakra map so he is considered as a N card looking EXR card, oh right he also has an eye on his tongue and mutated wavy horns!

Q: How do Tapirs stand in Tapir form?

They are basically just like a raccoon! They will use their forhands if needed, but mostly stand with four of them.

I've been thinking about having a specie for myself for a really long time now, I was jokly trying to draw a character that generated from random animal generator, and I ended up having this kind of centaur creature that is called Tapir. Before I put down all the traits I was looking at hundreds of adopts because I was really scared if there is already similar things exist somewhere else -until now, I am still very anxious about any existing specie that are actually look alike! If there do please please let me know and I will try to change things up a bit...!!!

I have literally no creativiy on naming things, and they ended up having a name that is already associated with an existing animal, my bad, however I don't think I will change it (maybe I will?) since I realized this name is quit catchy and easy to understand of what kind of creature it is. (This name was originally a joke as well)

I took references from South Eastern Asian + some Buddism stuff since I am really admire their culture and traditions. All the colours are referenced from the eight chakras. I will try to associate on different kind of patterns in the future since I want the designs to have more freedoms.

These three are the first batch of Tapirs, Yantra (Crown), Deva (Heart), and Mantra (Root).

I already gave Deva away as a gift for my assistant Jocelyn for helping me going through hard time last year. Mantra and Yantra will be put up for offer on my DA later on today! There will be no auction because these are new species and it is still working in progress. I would like everyone to help me develope more about them!

I am still working on Tapir's appearence traits on google doc, there is nothing really going on right now however you can take a look: ♦♦♦, it has some general traits and rarity of Tapirs. I am still lacking of their lore/backgrounds etc T_T I will eventually finish them!!!
