you have two chances at life. this is how things are, and how they always have and will be.

some call it a blessing, some a curse. you die the first time, and you come back with a gift; a gift that prevents the past from repeating itself.

maybe things could work like this, once upon a time. but it is human nature to take such a gift and twist it with cruelty, to a question of status rather than a marvel of nature- to suit the whims of a society where corruption fuels the very air they breathe. and so begins decade-long conflicts of religion, of rituals and overlooked morals, and still the real threat hardly stirs.

ne-004 is just another pawn in this game. lynn agua is so painfully average. ember edana is an enigma, and her older sister struggles with problems so very human.

somehow, somewhere, this will all come together. the shadows are scratching at the walls. revolution is coming.

and breaking point is one mess of a wedding away.
