I think i just made mine today. I tried to make a batch of slow cooked tomato rice and it turned out absolutely disgusting. The outside of the rice grains became mush (and very sour) and the inside was crunchy. It smelled good, but overall it was just super gross.

What were your worst attempts?

I am thankful to be part of this community, even if I don't interact much with others. But watching you guys, the beautiful characters you create, the amazing stories that grow with them, the worlds you create, they amaze me. They fill my heart with light and joy.

Today been a good day. The best day I had in a very very long time. Spent it with my best friend. I had my favorite meal. I had juice. Chocolate. A haircut. I feel alive. I feel like i'm out of a very dark place and I can't help to be thankful for everything.  

So thank you everyone. Thank you for existing. Thank you.

So to start, if you are tired to read about the virus, this post will be about that sooooo yeah.

As some of you may know, I'm a student in Cegep. Cegep is like an in-between High school and University. Its 2 years for pre-university programs and 3 years for technical programs like nurses, IT, ect.
I'm lucky enough to be on loans and bursaries that should last me until May so I am not in the street or struggling desperately. While i'm not rich and getting some debts because of the situation, it's manageable.
We are currently on voluntary lockdown, schools are closed, malls, cinema theaters, and pretty much every public spaces are too.
We learned today that school will be closed at least up to May 1st. Which means i'll probably will not see another human being until we can go out our homes.
I'm already getting stir crazy and I miss school. I miss my classes, my teachers...

We've been lucky, the death toll in canada is low and people are starting to be very aware of the situation and are following the restrictions. There was some crazy shoppers like everywhere else, but overall, people are helping each other the best they can. Yes, we also had the toilet paper hoarders, but now there is a limit of how much you can buy so, thats fair.

So, all in all, we are ok for now and I hope you guys are too.
Be careful, use the time to learn new skills in cooking, video games, any craft you enjoy. If you are living with roommates, family or a significant other, cherish them. Seriously, being utterly alone suck.
If you have old people in your family, call them, they are feeling very alone. I called my grand-parents in the last days and they were crying because they can't go out and it remind them of WW2. So never hesitate to contact them.

I love you guys and if you wanna talk, never hesitate. I'm not much, but i'm pretty much always there so... yeah.

So today, there was a crocodile found on a street near of where I live. And a tortoise in my school. 

I have to point out that I live in Québec, which is currently in the -10 celcius ( like 14 Fahrenheit) and we dont have that kind of critters here, even less in the middle of Montréal.

In any case, it's pretty weird. I hope those little ones will be ok since its so cold out there....

I'm so excited to start the new semester!

I'm finally starting my program, library and information technician. It's going to be a full 3 years, but after, i should get a nice job. 

I'm really hopeful for the future!
