Backstory

Goo was an outsider among his own people, he has a rare defect that no matter how much he tries to fix genetically nothing works. He is incapable of conceptualizing and has to rely on mimicry. For a species thats goal is evolutionary perfection, concepulization is fairly crucial. His main occupation was gathering DNA on various planets to be brought back to the homeworld, which is a fairly minor and common job. As a result when he went missing he was not missed or noticed.

When setting off to his next desitnation he hit a rogue asteroid through absolutely no fault of his own and spun out of control. Upon his "arrival" on earth he was immediately confronted with the pressing issue of the sub-zero climate of the Icelandic tundra. Things were looking really grim for Goo until he happened upon a small arctic fox, the fox was actually a Fylgja, an icelandic guardian spirit, Goo being a curious creature and the first intelligent being she had come in contact with for thousands of years she took pity on him. Using her runic magic she was able to shield Goo from the cold. Communication was difficult for quite a while but they were patient with each other and eventually were able to become friends. Fyl eventually proposed the idea they live a bit closer to society and Goo was on-board but obviously had no money. Proposing they idea that they both find jobs Fyl conjured a bar of gold and dropped it in front of Goo saying "I think this is still currency for man".

Fyl using glamour magic to make Goo look less... gooey; she was able to get them into society without too much issue. Apart from Goo's broken icelandic and Fyl's archaic way of speaking they managed fine getting a small house in Hafnarfjordur. After some research (spying on people) they became better and better at blending into society, Goo and Fyl even falling prey to the curse of video game addiction. Goo also at this time discovered Taco Bell and the ambrosia they serve called Baja Blast, Goo was so smitten by this he even changed his hue to match his favorite beverage and even flavored his slime after it (to mixed success). Fyl and Goo grew closer and closer living together and eventually their friendship blossomed into something more and they became lovers. After a messy ordeal of forging birth certificates they eventually married, not for any practical reason but it sounded cute to do at the time.

Present Day

Goo eventually learned English through his new internet addiciton and even managed to build a sizeable fanbase on social media. He loves taking selfies of himself (saying he's a CG artist) and gathering simps. Fyl is addicted to MOBAs and FPS games and plays them constantly getting enraged when she loses, Goo likes to tease her about this. As effectively immortal beings they're not too concerned with a future so they're content spending each day relaxing with each other.
