Hai I don’t know who is actually invested in the health of my lizard but I figured I’d provide an update. I’m so relieved to be able to give a positive one — Blue’s bloodwork revealed an infection and she was put on a round of subcutaneous antibiotics alongside fluid therapy as she was not retaining water, causing her chronic dehydration. I’ve been administering these antibiotic injections alongside oral medication and nutrition powder to get her strength back, and I’m happy to say she’s made huge progress ^_^ she has now gained back the energy to hunt crickets and right herself, and we have a (hopefully) final check at the vet in a couple weeks once her antibiotics are done. We aren’t out of the woods yet, as her weight loss was significant and it will take time to get her back to where she was before, but things are looking very bright ! If she hadn’t improved the way she has, expensive surgery would have likely been our only option, so I’m so so grateful she’s such a trooper!!

A huge thank you to my friends and commissioners who have contributed to the cost of her vet bills, you all have really given me peace of mind to know that I would be able to afford it (especially in the worst case scenario of surgery). I will be keeping commissions open until I feel more financially secure again
