hi all, i know i said i would get out chapter 1 out by the end of september but i wasn’t able to because of an emergency mental health break. im gonna restart working on it soon enough, just wanted to say that
Hi all! I plan to officially begin chapter 1 of the DT any day between September 25-30. I haven’t begun working on it just yet because high school has kept me busy, but I’ve kept up my straight A‘s so I have some free time. Speaking of high school though, I’m going to my boyfriend’s homecoming tonight!! Just an exciting little thing I wanted to share.
I’ll try to begin working on ch 1 tomorrow!

June 20, 2021
Olivia, a shapeshifting alien, begins filling out her first sketchbook while she’s on vacation with her family in Florida.
Later June - later July 2021
Throughout the Summer, Olivia tries to keep up with her daily sketches, sometimes making multiple a day. She forgets some days, though.
August 2021
7th grade starts, which means that Olivia is freshly in middle school. She also willingly runs in Cross Country, although she hates it.
This is, unfortunately, when she begins to lose her free time due to homework and practice after school. This hampers her ability to draw every day, and, therefore, results in her getting art block.
September 2021 - April 2022
As the school year passes, Olivia still draws in her sketchbook, albeit on occasion. She does manage to fill out quite a lot of it, though. A major reason as to why she had been able to draw more was because Cross Country had ended mid-October, giving her a few more hours to draw each day.
Mid-April 2022
Olivia begins to become immersed in the idea of bringing her sketchbooks to life. This causes her to have a HUGE burst of motivation and begin to fill her sketchbook at the speed of light, making at least three drawings a day. She has to take a break for a bit, though, because she realizes that she doesn’t know how to manifest her own creatures.
April 25 - May 2, 2022
Throughout the later days of April to the early days of May, Olivia slowly comes back to making one drawing a day in her sketchbook. The remaining hours of each day would be solely dedicated towards doing research on how to manifest creatures from inanimate objects using magic and alien powers and whatnot. Thats the thing, though. She’s an alien. There‘s bound to be little to no information on how to complete this specific task because of how obscure the idea is. She can‘t just look up “sketchbook creature manifestation tutorial for aliens” and actually expect to get helpful results.
What’s worse is that she was doing all of her research on Bing.
Heavily disappointed, Olivia, with a completely filled sketchbook yet no corresponding creature, drifts off to sleep the night of May 2.
That night, she has a really weird dream. Nothing really happens, but it’s more or less a set of instructions. It starts from her perspective. She is seen opening the first sketchbook to the very last page. Then, she is seen rubbing her hands together for around 30 seconds until she pulls them apart to reveal they are covered in a beige paint-like substance, which slightly resembles dough. Finally, she proceeds to use her fingers to paint a symbol onto the page; a DNA helix with a swirl in the middle. It looked as if it was supposed to depict a candy. Suddenly, the symbol begins glowing; but as if something big was about to happen, Olivia’s mind began dreaming of something else.
May 3, 2022
Luckily for Olivia, she remembers the steps to manifesting she dreamt of the night before. It felt so out of place from what she normally dreams of, but she truly believes that those steps WILL bring her sketchbook to life.
She’s finally going home. After a long day of not focusing on anything in school due to being so full of anticipation, she’s FINALLY going back home, so she can test out the steps from her dreams that she had memorized.
okay so ive privated all my characters besides Florida because I want to center my profile around the diner storyline for now. i will unprivate the mentioned characters at some point but for now im gonna focus more on my ssb’s and soon enough how im gonna implement my sona into the story
