hi i am always lurking and looking at designs...this is just an observation of recent trends i've noticed in the adopt market lol: 

- cell/biological/germ aesthetic but ✨️ stylized ✨️ (usually anime or kemono leaning)

- webcore is still prominent but now with more grids, usually blue & white, with increasing frequency in Windows95 references (e.g. green grass fields) 🖱💙☁️💚

- liminal spaces inspired designs are popping up more and more, ESPECIALLY pool room elements which are particularly popping off 🌊🖤

- weirdcore designs are becoming more prevalent - lots of pitch black OCs with no discernible faces save for noticeable eyes, & unique elements on the body. i guess this also counts as liminal inspired. ⬛️👁⬛️👁⬛️

- dreamcore inspired designs are evolving. lots of pastel minimalistic designs with elements like blue skies, clouds, closed eyes, some sort of portal on the body ☁️🦋💤💭

- alien cats are SO in rn (they have always been popular but i'm noticing a new boom) 🐈👽👾

- snoopy inspired OCs are still a hit. long live cream colored dogs with dark ears/tails! 🐶🐾

remember when people were making lots of dreamcore/surreal angel designs? e.g. multiple wings, many eyes, different types of halos, etc. i don't see too many of these being made anymore 🤔 guess that trend aint trending as much.
