Hey y’all, it’s with a heavy heart that I need to report someone for fraud. 😭 dumbfairypng on deviantArt, also known as oskarsalvatore on deviantArt, with the PayPal email [email protected] scammed me out of files on an adopt after I purchased for $80 with AB.

HERE is the design I was sold.

HERE and HERE is our initial correspondence through the DA chat system. And HERE is proof that I paid on PayPal. After sending payment, they stopped responding to me. 

I waited a few days because I know shit happens and wasn’t sure if they had an emergency or something. I then sent them a Note on DA since there had been no response in our Chat. HERE is the note in my sent mail outbox, and HERE is it’s contents.

During this time I was starting to get suspicious because they had deleted the deviation of the design I bought, and reuploaded it…for sale again. Late last night on March 31st, 2023, I attempted to go to the dumbfairypng page again and look at the gallery, only to discover that I had been blocked. 

A friend used Wayback Machine and showed me that they had been selling the adopt AGAIN in December 2022, uploaded and posted in a different deviation, as seen HERE. They also had several sold adopts that they appear to have taken down that I noticed before being blocked. I’ve reported Oskar to deviantArt and haven’t received a notice back yet as of me writing this, and plan to also dispute them on PayPal.

Really sad and disappointed…I was so happy to have a design for this character (my OC Regalia), but to distance myself from this scam artist, I’ll be working to tweak her design in the coming days/weeks. If anyone would like to be commissioned to help me build a new signature outfit for her, I’d super appreciate it. ;;
