Cupids are creatures formed from connections. Their society is tight knit, yet strict in their rules. This does not apply to gender expression, as Cupids have no concept of gender binary at all. Their very nature is to help in the creation and cultivation of relationships, aided by strings that only they may see, with their powers stemming from their eyes. Cupids are meant to have one blue eye and one pink eye, their iris’ shaped into the hearts they inspire. Cupids without the correct eye colours are shunned and fired. Cupids are completely invisible to those without Sight, no human-disguised appearance available for those who work so closely with human lives. It is taboo but not unheard of for hunters to kill Cupids.
