Just a list of things I like/don’t like in characters~
Likes:
Type:
Feral > Anthro > Humanoid > Human
Species:
Domesticated cats are my highest priority.
Cats with moth or butterfly features.
Canine. Specifically: Spaniels! Long Haired Dachshund, Saluki, Papillon, Australian Shepherd, Chinese Crested, Fox.
Skunk.
Raccoon.
Opossum (cute looking/chibi, not with their mouth open)
Rat, mouse, rabbit - though I prefer them as either anthropomorphic or as companions to my other characters.
Deer, cow, bear, lamb (would prefer anthro specifically)
Traits:
Fluffy/Longhaired/Silky fur
Curly fur
Ear tufts
Folded/Floppy/Hanging/Drop/Droopy ears
Two toned/butterfly/parti nose (basically a multicolored nose)
Short legs
Eyelashes
Split hair dye, space buns
Purple + blue split heterochromia
Heart or star pupils
Themes:
Lovecore/Valentine’s Day themed, Dreamy, Space/Galaxy, Sunset or Lesbian Pride flag inspired, Nerdy, Princess, Strawberry, Cherry Blossom/Sakura, Queen of Hearts jester, Latte, Forest/nature/mushroom/moss, Dessert themed, Winter/Snow.
Coquette / Stereotypical feminine vibes (pink, cutesy, dresses or skirts, ribbons/bows, long hair)
Accessories: nerdy round glasses, ribbons/bows, lace, jewelry, flowers
I'm cool with non genetically accurate markings/coats. And dog markings/coats on cat characters, etc.
Markings:
Colorpoints!!! (Especially mink and sepia) with unique white markings, especially on the face (aka blazes)
Marbled tabby > Braided tabby > Classic tabby
Merle
Ticked or Flecking or Roan
Spotted Blanket Appaloosa
Hearts, stars, clouds, butterflies, swirls, freckles, spots, sparkles
Plants/flower markings

Natural cat colors: chocolate, seal, blue, blue based bimetallic, blue silver chinchilla, lilac, lilac-cream tortie, fawn-cream tortie, chocolate tortie, black smoke (ghost) classic tabby.
Natural dog colors: black and tan, isabella (and tan), silver, blues, grays, ivory, cream, lilac.
Natural horse colors: blue roan, gray dapple.
Any shade of brown from beige or tan to dark brown (especially paired with light pink, light blue, or lavender)
Neapolitan (brown + pink + cream/white)
Pinks
Purples
Pastels
Pastel galaxy or pastel rainbow
Silver/light gray
Silver + Gold/Tan
Black and maroon
Black and purple
Undesired/Dislikes:
Orange/ginger/red cats, especially orange tabbies. There are some orange cats that catch my eye but you can assume most of the time I am not into orange kitties. I do like torties but can be picky about them.
Chocolate golden, blue golden, lilac golden… etc.
Feral characters with fully solid colored faces/heads. For example, a cat with a full white face but markings on the body. I want their face to have some distinguishing markings so that if I draw a headshot they’re not just any white cat. Or if they have a solid colored face, I would want them to have unique eyes or face scars or something.
Spiky fur.
Horror, gore, uncanny, multiple eyes, extra limbs, drool, heavy scarring, etc.
Robots.
Nurse/Doctor aesthetic.
Characters with object heads.
Webcore. Vaporwave.
Super simple designs that are just one solid color without white markings or darker/lighter points.
Lykoi, Sphynx, other hairless cats or dogs. Don’t worry. I love them irl and think they’re cute. I just prefer my characters to be the opposite of hairless XD
Reptiles or insect characters. Again I like them irl I’m just not sure what to do with them as characters. Though I may consider snakes.
Chow chow, Shar pei, most terriers.
Major eye strain colors.
Orange and green together.
Yellow and red together.
Bright yellow and bright green together.
