Posting on here rather than on roseeater bc i have more followers here. If yall could help me out with this i would SUPER appreciate it 🙏
I just had the thought that the profiles on my OC neocities are probably too difficult to read for adhd havers like myself, as in, its just huge blocks of text that melt together and are hard to focus on, even if i have them broken up into different sections. So i have two questions:
1. For mortimer especially but this applies to the main 4: Do you think the profiles are too verbose and long? Should I reword them to be more concise? (Or should I just shorten mortimer's and no one else's? lol)
2. Should I add accent images to their pages? (like the way a lot of codes here on toyhouse do. like this one for example, theres images next to info boxes)

(btw i had my surgery yesterday morning and it went well :D)
if you are one of the three people who follow my twitter you know this already but for the past like 3 months ive been unemployed and stuck at home all day bc ive got nerve issues in my leg (specifically, sciatica from a herniated disc pinching the nerve... -_-) had to quit my job bc i couldnt work. luckily im scheduling a surgery for this soon! after 3 years of this recurring pain lol. but anyways
i've also been in a fucking INSANE artblock since after last year's artfight i guess. haven't been able to draw consistently at all. first i was depressed and unmotivated last summer, then i didnt have the energy and focus because of my job, and now even tho i have (and have had for months) all the free time in the world i have no motivation to draw or work on my neocities despite a deep desire and need to create :(
BUT... i was thinking of opening cheap sketch comms or something to kinda force me back into art. tho it could also be art trades i guess. imma be honest ive never had any actual success selling comms in all of the years ive tried and i dont actually need the money rn. either way whatever i do i HAVE to draw again. i actually feel so sad that im not drawing stuff... if you would be interested in either of these things (comms or art trades) plzzz hit me up. (i have one art trade ive been putting off bc of my situation BUT i am going to try my best to get it done soon!!)
so um yea thats wats been going on with me ^_^ if anyone else has clawed their way out of insane art block id love to know how you did it (esp cuz um.. artfight soon o_o) but otherwise thank uuu for reading this
Last month I finished a HUGE update for my OC neocities! I'd already posted about this on my other toyhouse account when that update dropped, but I'm posting here as a sorta reminder and because I have a liiiittle more outreach on this account. I will be pretty much completely inactive on toyhouse from now on, the only new stuff you'll see is new art being added to my art tab.

As mentioned in my past couple bulletins, I decided to move my OCs elsewhere. And now that I've finally finished my neocities page for them, I can now take my leave (my Departure?) from toyhouse. All of us here know about toyhouse's various issues... and coding my own site has been very fun and rewarding. It's definitely more "me" than a toyhouse profile could ever get and learning a lot about html and css has definitely been great too. Check it out if you'd like!
