"Frieda...that's a name I'll always remember. Haha, not just because she's regularly on TV, but also because she was my first ever friend back in Avelon. I wonder if we can catch up with each other...perhaps I should try going to her place when I visit home."
“F-FRIEDA?! Oh, um, oh my, I haven’t heard from her in so long… It was always fun… You know, uh, c-competing with her in all those races before… I’m sorry to her, for suddenly leaving. I hope though, that, um, she is happier being in…first place…”
"Miss Gale? She is an amazing teacher, and she is very pretty too! I think she should date my brother, hahaha! Also, she is actually the reason why Millie and I became friends! She and Millie helped me to understand math more~"
"Haha, my dear Shiba has always been an interesting student. I'm glad the tutoring session with Millie went well, and both of them are doing better now. She still needs more work with her algebra, though."
"Well... Uh, although she and her sister are still kids, I will not sugarcoat anything. I like Tara better than her sister. Clumsy, but at least she has a calm temperament. On the other hand, that Tanna is way too noisy and energetic, just like Shiba..."
"Bi-Big Sister Millie...? I like her! Big Sister Shiba is...um, too fast to play with... Big Sister Millie likes reading, and I, umm, I like it a lot too..."
"Li'l Tanna! Wanna play tug of war with that little hair ribbon of yours? Or play hide and seek? Let's go to the playground near your sister's apartment and roleplay as pirates! Millie here can be the evil pirate!"
"Big Sis Shiba! I will not let you get my ribbon this time! I wanna play wrestling after hide and seek too! We always play pirates, so I think we should play cop and thief! Maybe Big Sis Millie can be our cop!"
"M-MISS KARI!! I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN! Thank you so, so much for creating YuKari! You and Miss Yuka inspire me so much!"
"Wah~ Millie!! I am happy to hear you're a huge fan of ours! Truly, our music creates wonderful connections~"
"Millie? What I can say about her is that she's diligent and very hardworking. I'm her homeroom teacher, so I know that very well, hahaha! She has certainly improved in many aspects ever since she became my student, and I'm proud of her for that! She really is a promising student, and I hope she will learn to believe in herself more."
"...I'm not the type to possess a liking towards older figures. Yet, somehow, Miss Lavigne just feels different. I never felt deserving of a second chance, and yet, she gave me one. I will always be grateful to her for that. I do not disagree with what many people say about Miss Lavigne. She is very kind and considerate to anyone, even to a mere student like myself..."
"...Would it be unprofessional of me to say that I have the tiniest bit of bias towards Millie? Hahaha. Out of all my students, she is the one who stands out the most. That is not a backhanded compliment though, despite her academic history implying it. She possesses great potential—she just has yet to realize it for herself. Perhaps if she comes out of her shell more often, she will realize that she is much more than what she thinks she is capable of."
"If you told younger me that I would soon become friends with Garcia, she would have scoffed at you. Probably almost everyone in school knows of this, but I used to hate Tonia. No, hate is too strong of a word even for me—I used to dislike her a lot. The reason being quite petty, so I do not want to discuss about it. Now that I have gotten to know her better, my former misjudgments have been cleared. She is responsible in everything she handles, and has a pleasant temperament. I still feel tension between us sometimes, though."
"Based on what I've heard before, Millie used to not really like me, even though I just wanted to make my acquaintance with her... I do not really want to talk about this topic, but I have a feeling it had something to do with grades and such... Anyway, I am feeling relieved now that she no longer tries to avoid me, and we coincidentally became part of the same friend group, too... I admire her hard work and dedication, so I have always wanted to make friends with her. I still feel like there is some kind of boundary between us, though..."
"Miss Lavigne... she's one of the teachers who I like the most. Very kind... and beautiful too... I don't really want to, ah, admit this, but I was part of her remedial math class once... T-this is irrelevant, but it was also where I met Shiba, and also Millie in some way... Miss Lavigne taught everyone there very well and made things easier to understand... so now I am passing her class again! Hahaha..."
"The rumors surrounding Heather are quite concerning, but I suppose it's for the best not to pry on her family background for now. I will admit—she does not stand out academically compared to the other students. However, she does pass her work much more earlier than them, and it's what makes her notable as a student. She is a very nice and respectful young lady."
"Where should I start about Heather...? I will be honest, sometimes I still feel the urge to call her Alba, even though I know she hates hearing that name... I have never done it, fortunately. We used to go to the same elementary school in Avelon, but we weren't friends back then. Actually, I do not know if she knows about it, since she has never asked... It is understandable, of course. She has changed a lot over the years, but I know very well that she still has a pure heart. I want to protect her from anything that can hurt her, even though a rabbit isn't exactly the most defensive of all animals, haha..."
"I feel like I can be the most vulnerable around Tonia... She is one of the kindest and most responsible people I know and respect. Um, she is very pleasant to be around with... and she never seems to judge me for anything I do or say, a-and I appreciate it a whole lot... But, I have noticed that she tends to become very hard on herself... I don't want her to have to carry most of the burden... I... I know very well that it is not something easy to recover from... A truly kind girl like her... needs her rest, too..."
"I am not sure if Heather knows of me being aware of her real identity. It's quite interesting to know that she's that Alba girl who went missing a few years back—I remember it was all over the news, even my own mother was shocked. She doesn't seem to have a big sense of pride despite her past; ironically, she seems cowardly. I have to respect her for that, though, and I'm not that cruel to spread the word about her birth name. I am not that heartless to just hurt her like that. Anyway, she is quite pleasant, although she does not talk much."
"I will be honest... Millie scares me sometimes. I know that we're not, um, in bad blood, or something like that. Plus, we are friends... it's just that she seems to get angry easily... and, it's also probably because of her past reputation, too... Haha, it makes me afraid to talk to her sometimes... It feels like only Shiba can truly become close to her. Um, she really is dedicated to the things she does, though... And she's very smart... I think I'd like to get closer to her, when I am not that anxious anymore...
"Big Bro is literally the best brother I could ever have! Even though I know I'm not actually related to him, but still, he is super cool! Plus, he cooks the BEST fried chicken ever—even more than the restaurant near Millie's place! But I really want him to stop nagging at me 'cause of my English grades! I'm already doing my best, and Millie A.K.A. his best student is also helping me! See, this is one of the bad things of having a teacher as an older brother...! Even at home, he scolds me for these things! I know it's bad, but he could've given my grades a raise!"
"Shiba's presence has brought a lot of joy to my family. Who knows how life would turn out if I hadn't spotted her when I was a kid? She can be a handful most of the time though, as she is quite the oddball. She eats so much that I sometimes wake up to an almost-empty fridge! We would've saved more money had she been more frugal in eating. Adding on to that, she really needs to improve her grades. I can't help but widen my eyes every time I read her essays. Even when we are just at home, I cannot help but scold her about it. See, this is one of the bad things of having your little sister as your student. Her own brother is her teacher, yet she is not proficient in his subject..."
"Big Sis Ayaka is really good at fashion, since everything she wears looks so good on her! I'm not that good at it, so I wanna ask her in the future to teach me how to pair up pretty clothes! 'Cause right now I'm not that interested in it. She gave me my cute scarf though, and I never wanna lose it! But I will be honest, sometimes Big Sis Ayaka can be too much, since she randomly shows up at home and scares me! I also do NOT agree with her food opinions—chocolate will ALWAYS be better than vanilla!"
"My baby cousin has grown up so much! Feels like it hasn't been that long since she was still a little baby~ And she still wears the scarf I gave her many years ago? I knew she loves me too much! Ah, how I miss my teenage years~ But! She reminds me that I'm almost turning 30. HMPH! Well, it just means I gotta be there to be a role model to her. I want her to enjoy her adolescence as much as possible! Perhaps I can drag her along with me once I become a popular beauty queen!"
"Tonia~ My older sister! Except she is not actually my real sister, she just feels like one to me. Plus, if she was my real older sis, then why is she shorter than me? Hahaha! Okay, how many times have I said 'sister' now?! Anyway, she is the nicest girl I've ever befriended aside from Heather, 'cause she's super duper helpful whenever I ask for her help! Her food is also the BEST, I feel like I could eat everything in her kitchen since they are so yummy! Holland is so lucky~ She should agree to go out with him!"
"Hmm, Shiba... She is funny, I must say, and I have fun whenever she is around. This may be a bit mean to say, but watching her and Millie get into silly little disagreements makes me laugh sometimes, ahaha! I really appreciate that she likes the food I make, it gives me a boost of confidence in my own skills. She regularly pokes fun at my height, even though I am supposed to be shorter than everyone else as I am a rabbit...? Or are rabbits supposed to be taller? On a different note, I would like for her to tone down her teasing me about Holland..."
"Heather is super duper sweet, I tell you! When Millie is not around, she listens to me ramble on and on and on about whatever I wanna talk about, and I think it's really nice of her! 'Cause I know that people get annoyed of my talking, hahaha! She gives off this kind of mysterious vibe though, I wonder if she has some kind of big secret she's hiding...?! But I'm not gonna force it out of her, it's the least I can do to repay her for being a super kind friend to me! She is nice to hang out with~!"
"Shiba is interesting... Um, she seems to be, uh, happy almost all of the time... I wonder how she does it? Hahaha... It is nice... She talks a bit too much though... but, um, I don't really mind. At least, one of us, Shiba, can do the talking, for the other, uh, who is me... Millie says she can be forceful at times... but for some reason, she doesn't feel like it to me... It's a good thing though! Makes me feel safe around her..."
"Millie is literally the BEST! I know she can be super mean at times, but I assure you that she can also be very nice. I mean, she has helped me out loads of times before, and I think that without her, I would be super duper clueless about everything! Even if others do not think of her in a good way, I think it is great to be her friend—she even treats me to yummy burgers at the really nice burger place near her house! Everyone always sees her as a mean girl, but they don't try to understand her. But I want to understand her! So I wanna stay with Millie forever~!"
"Shiba? Don't even get me started on that girl. I admit without a doubt that she is one of the dumbest people I have ever met in this strange world. It does not help at all that she is the epitome of naivety; she's barely aware of herself and her environment, and I'm not even sure she knows that she's spending most of MY money on food. Hmph. However, she does possess good qualities, and knows how to make the mood better. I do not even know how she became my so-called 'best friend,' but... she has made life feel less lonely. I hate to admit it, but I doubt anyone can replace her presence in my life. She really has helped me in ways I did not know could exist. So... I am grateful for her."
