Jascha is a bit of an enigma. He and Emrys are excommunicated from the same evil organization, now working against it. There is a lot of life experience they have in common, and some personality-related tendencies as well. Neither of them are prone to getting really feelsy about their past experiences, but definitely share a sense of camaraderie. That being said, Jascha's treatment of Emrys' best friend has not sat well with him, and he's unsure how to approach that rift.
Emrys and Terryn have been like cats and dogs since day one. Even while pretending to be Quinn, Emrys was never able to make any headway with winning the moody teen over. Little did he know that there were other forces at work keeping Terryn wayyy at arm's length. His desire to manipulate became a legitimate desire to peacefully coexist when Emrys reintegrated into the party as his true self, but still- Terryn was having none of it. Only when the two of them somewhat trauma-bonded over a massive favor and magical escapade did Terryn seem to be more comfortable in talking to Emrys.
Üna is incredibly kind and fun to be around. Parisa wonders (and worries), however, that if Üna were to find out she’d lied to her all this time about her identity as Solace, it would destroy what bond they have built so far. WIP
Emil is a sweet and noble knight, well worthy of his title as leader of the Order, at least in Parisa’s opinion. While he is a little too reclusive and shy to fulfill what she usually looks for in company, she enjoyed talking, praying, sparring and even dancing with him. She is glad that she got some connections between him and the Sparrows going, and hopes that that can continue to be a mutual benefit to both organizations.
It started out with purely selfish intents… but there was a turning point early on where Parisa took the risk to open up to Jascha and found she was met with understanding and a little camaraderie. More and more she sought out his company and her feelings began to quickly develop beyond mere physical attraction. Despite her denial, Parisa fell in love with Jascha. She just wants him to be happy and at peace—even if that means staying away from her.
She will always cherish the time they spent together and all he taught her, not only about hunting and tracking, but about life. He changed her life in many positive ways, and she chooses to cling to that rather than how it fell apart near the end.
She misses his company as a friend, most of all. He was almost one of her best friends. She blames herself for the rift, as she once again let her poor past behaviours return and sabotage a chance at something amazing.
Parisa is very grateful for the opportunities Riryn has given her. She hopes to make her proud. WIP
Parisa believes Terryn has a brilliant future and she will fight to protect that.
However, when it comes to interacting with the moody teen… Parisa really struggles. She feels like she doesn’t know how to behave with him most of the time, especially as her self. She has almost no experience with teenagers except for when she was one herself, so she’s prone to missing the mark in terms of what is appropriate to say in front of a teen or not. She’s a little too shameless for him to handle, it seems. That being said, she cares a lot about the kid and loves to watch him grow.
Desire has great respect for Grannie Berri, and is forever loyal to her. She pulled her out of a bad place and set her on a new path in life. She will always love Grannie Berri, and is most likely to obey her above anybody else, save for maybe Riryn or the divine.
Parisa finds Daewynn incredibly sweet and charming and has had an on and off crush on them since first meeting at the Academy. She does not intend to pursue anything beyond a friendship with them, nor does she have any plans on telling them about her feelings. She’ll simply enjoy the calm, gentle energy they bring, and ask to hug them when she can.
There’s a lot of complicated feelings toward Imnis that Parisa has always kept close to her chest. When they first met, she was scared. Then, she was starting to get interested… and she asked for his help. He agreed to join the party to help protect both her and who they’d thought to be Quinn at the time. It started off a little hopeful, at least on her side… but things only went downhill from there.
Parisa has been flaky, and over time subconsciously sabotaged this relationship, partly due to ingrained distancing habits from working as a Watcher.
Most recently, she had admitted to him that she does not feel like he is her friend. So, she’s chosen to avoid him where it is convenient to do so, in order to avoid further clashing. At least until she gets herself more under control.
