It was a chronic vitamin b-12 deficiency. I'm taking supplements and all now, but it'll take me a while to stabilize. Currently I'm easing into doing the things I used to, but even those little steps feel massive.

Commissions

I’m hoping to do some artwork for some extra cash on the side! For now, I’m hoping to do mostly quick pieces that don’t tire me out like previous attempts at opening commissions have. Hell, to help cut back on the fatigue from constantly updating everything by hand, I got the whole front-end process automated via ko-fi and Trello. To no one’s surprise, I am garbage doodoo stinky at maintaining social connections. My head has been so damn empty from all the crap I’ve been trying to cram into my short-term memory. Whether we were in contact ages ago and just drifted away or we’ve just been mutuals on the same mental wavelength who don’t really talk, I wanna chat! I’m an awkward piece of shit and I probably miss talking to you if we were friends once upon a time. Please reach out and let me know if you wanna keep in touch again – I worry about whether or not I drove people away by accident and am having trouble telling when I’m rudely crossing any lines or boundaries. Not too long ago, I did a simple bootstrap profile theme code for one of my fursonæ. I forgot how much I loved coding front-end web shit! I’ve rekindled my enthusiasm to finish my ages-old full recolor css for TH, but after that, I’m not entirely sure what to do. I would love suggestions to help rein me in so I don’t give in to the demons telling me to make a css sheet that just changes the “toyhou.se” title text on the topmost menu bar so it’s in the style of the Seinfeld logo.

On Interaction & Activity

Can I follow if I'm under 18? Yeah, just make sure you stay safe when interacting with adults on the net. I don't really screen my followers on any platform anyways.

Do you tag for X? Usually I stick to tagging/warning for the kinds of content that would land a game an M rating from the ESRB or a movie an R rating from whatever ratings board does U.S. movies. I try to be considerate but reasonable. Keeping detailed lists of what upsets random strangers on my subscriber list feels like an exercise in stress and misery, but for my friends and maybe my mutuals too? Yeah just drop a line and we can work something out

Even if we aren't mutuals, can I make offers on characters outside your sale and trade folder as long as you haven't done anything with them lately? No, you absolutely and non-negotiably may not. I have chronic fatigue issues stemming from a mixture of physical and mental stressors (after all, I do not live on the Internet), so it takes ages for me to finish any substantial, polished artwork. Often, I will have countless sketches, unfinished projects, ideas, and road maps for characters regardless of whether or not I have updated their profile or drawn them "recently." I mean business when I say not to offer on anything outside that folder, so do not cross the line.

Can you ping me if you ever decide to sell or take offers on your characters? Nah, I wouldn't be able to maintain any proper ping lists. Too much work, not enough hours in the day.

Do you have a "dreamies"/"dream design" favorites folder? The closest thing to that would be my folder of designs I'd coveted for a while until I could get my grubby li'l mitts on them – in other words, only things I actually own go in there. Otherwise, nah. I just sort by vibes and stare at the cool mental dioramas I set up. If I fav one of your characters, that doesn't mean that I'm coveting them or stalking their profile in hopes of snagging a resale; sometimes I just wanna look at a design more than once.

Can I kin your characters? Don't touch my fursonæ or personal favorites/"mains" and don't be a weirdo about it. Otherwise, go wild haha I don't care all that much as long as you're respectful about it

Why did you block/mute (me/this person/etc)? Honestly, I probably just don't like that person's icon or got sick of seeing their characters on the front page. Probably nothing personal. I tend to block and mute liberally to avoid seeing icons and characters that annoy me. Fast-moving, high-contrast .gifs are a particular sore point, so that's most likely the answer you're looking for.

I sent you something that you never responded to. What's the deal with that? To be completely honest, I probably forgot. It's not a big deal and isn't exclusive to you. I'm trying, but things slip through at times. Feel free to poke me if I left you hanging for no discernible reason.
