Ranya is... not Aiori's child, not her sibling, not just a pet. They've grown up together and are inseparable partners with a deep bond. They can understand one another by body language alone. The world is brighter when you have Ranya fur on your clothes!

Aiori and Kirato are best friends brought together by Tatsuya. Kirato has shown her and Tatsuya that love comes in many forms, even if it might be hard to describe on paper.
You really shouldn't judge a book by its cover... or her coord. Kirato was initially a little skeptical of Aiori and Tatsuya's relationship. Was it jealousy? Maybe in the deepest part of his heart, a smidgen. But opening himself up to getting to know Aiori proved him wrong, and he is forever grateful for her being the catalyst that brought him and Tatsuya closer again. Now he considers Aiori (and Ranya!) family just as much he does Tatsuya.
Tatsuya is Aiori's longtime spouse of over a decade and the love of her life. But she's shy and thinks it's fun to playfully mislead people-- Kiritani-san is just her secretary, after all, right? Aiori wishes the world was a little kinder to him sometimes. She'll fill the bath with hot water for his aching joints, but she draws the line at eating vegetables, no matter how much they bicker about it.
Some souls are put on Earth with the mission of finding one another in each lifetime. Aiori is his reason for being and Tatsuya's devotion to her is self-sacrificing.
