I was also confused about how to join VGen at first — it took me quite a while to figure it out. It was really discouraging how few views my work was getting on social media. If I understand correctly, the effect you're looking for should be achieved through Artstudio's 'Find Color Edges' feature, though it seems not all software have this function.
If you're referring to me changing the line art color, maybe you can search for the keyword 'change line art color' on YouTube. Hope this would help!
