lotsa scifi ocs, all kinda fit under similar rules so they all get dumped into a future au milky way

• the ruling government over the system is the Sol System Federation, or the SSF, Sysfed.. Sissy feds :P
• countries on earth are still doing their regular governments thing, they all have their ambassadors in the SSF
• the SSF is more to maintain space travel and the planets and moons, they also have a strong interest in leaving the system. no earth countries have claim on any planets/moons, 
• all space travel related science and development has to go through them. so earth space agencies do exist still, but their work nowadays is directly influenced by the SSF and not their own countries government
