Sweetoak University is a prestigious university in an isolated city to the north with a reputation for being near impossible to get admittance to unless you have the right connections. Their methods for accepting new students have always been looked down upon, but multiple online posts about them gained traction and the school was review-bombed by less than impressed strangers, they were forced to make some changes to how they introduced new students to the campus.

One of such changes included drawing lots to pick new students who would attend the school in the coming year.

Nam Yin was not prepared for their name to be the one which was drawn among the thousands of applicants.

Sweetoak University is a University that specializes in fine arts, located in northern Canada. While the university itself has a special affinity for the arts, it offers education in all the regular departments you would expect a traditional university to offer. It is nigh impossible to get into SWO-U without connections. Between limited slots entrance exams, specialty high school course requirements, letters of recommendation., It's always something,. After many years of backlash and scrutiny against the near impossible entry requirements, this year SWO-U has promised to make entry easier on upcoming students for the future. To further promote this decision, the university has also hosted a raffle for a full-ride scholarship and on-campus residency entirely paid for by the university itself.

Out of sheer luck, a near highschool dropout managed to win the raffle, and that is where the story begins.
