syracuse & mamertine

the establishment run by the world power antirrhinum. syracuse is the base of her political operations, and mamertine is the prison she presides over.

it's rumored that anyone who enters her prison is unable to escape, bound to antirrhinum's will and the mercy she does not have. any unfortunate criminal who finds themself in the mamertine prison have no chance of even vaguely resembling themselves after leaving - they would be luckier if they died before they're freed. the non-euclydian nature of the prison is hard to wrap your head around, and the motifs of chess - it feels as if she manipulates fate itself.

her establishment is much more tame, holding a much more appealing structure for diplomacy and general practices. it's a building that few people go into.
