WOW i'm sorry..I haven't been on toyhouse in a good while... While I was gone I had my birthday though yay! I'm 24

I got so burnt out w/ art and just needed a break.. I should've announced it and such but I just couldn't even bring myself to open toyhouse for a while.. I am sorry but I'm back..For now. I'm going to finish all owed art by the 20th and I probably wont reopen commissions until mid/late July. 

I'm going to go on another hiatus of art from the 20th to the 7th of July because my husband is coming to visit and we have lots of stuff planned yay and I wont have time for doing much art.. I'll still be checking TH though so I'll be here still

And for artfight, I'm going to do what I can this year but I probably wont do toooooo much, and will prioritize revenges and also I wont have too many characters up I think....Not sure...I just need to get a ref of Siesta ready..., I wanna do some more pixel art this AF and just cute little chibis and stuff ok? I'm just gonna start posting these weekly update bulletins to just keep everyone posted on my art and business..! and because i like talking lol.

So i'm still chipping away at my comms, just a couple left and an art trade. I hadn't finished them all as soon as i'd like to because i've been juggling a lot right now! I'm currently building a website which is serving as a cetacean image database using shimmie booru software and i've been hyperfocusing on it to get it up and running.
I will be finishing comms ideally by the end of the month though! Then opening up more slots for my sugimori styled comms, I'm going to be doing one more opening of 4 this time, then upping the price by £5, as I kind of forgot just how much work they can take!
I'm also working on some designs, both anthros and cetaceans. I'll be posting a batch of anthro orcas soon as well with a mix of realism inspired and fantasy designs, these will be on the same base i'm using for my latin american gacha designs i've been chipping away at.

Other than the art stuff, lifes been ok. But i've recently been scammed out of £610 on Vinted after selling a pokemon card, so that's something i've been struggling and dealing with. Thankfully i didn't technically lose anything due to the card coming from an ETB i bought, but it is still a major loss for me and a lot of stress because that money was going to go towards the time i'm spending with my partner in June, it'll be his first time coming to the UK and I had a lot planned, but arrangements might have to change due to the loss of such a significant amount of money. So please forgive me for raising prices of my commissions and posting more adopts/designs in the future, because not only am i saving for this, but also for my trip in Jan to see him again but also saving in general to eventually move countries.

i feel so locked in.. my queues basically empty now and i feel like i could draw a million things and i can start fresh! i WILL be on top of my art from now on, ive fully ironed out using trello again and finding myself a good routine to work on art on my days i don't work my real job and i can deliver on shorter TATs.. I might poke around for art trades but im focusing rn on doing some designs and maybe taking a couple comms

anyways i hope everywhale is doing well :-3 im gonna go cook dinner

im in a bit of a spot in need to save up money for me and my partner , so im wondering if a gacha would be a cool idea to save some money ^_^ 

Also any adopt ideas in general. i like gimmicks and themes especially so !

And for a gacha i would do it themed to latin american wildlife as latam is where im saving to move to! The nature of latin america is beautiful and inspires me a lot so :-)

My friend endofsmallsanctuary put together a discord server and it's small and quiet rn..But we hope more people will join !!

I'm flying back to the uk.. I have a 10 hr flight this time round, I know at the beginning of the month I posted a bulletin about art reqs and dont worry I have not forgotten to the people who offered their lovely characters forward! I did do some and I will be doing more on my flight back, And I'll be uploading them for you guys when I get settled back home. 

When I get back, I'm going to be putting more focus on doing designs and commissions on a more frequent basis because I need to support myself more and fund my future. I'm clearing my queue out swiftly and then putting a lot of focus into my art, setting up a schedule and working my butt off to hopefully earn more money so i can successfuly get married and move countries :-) I will be doing some more free stuff and raffles too so keep ur eyes open! and I'll be opening the ken sugimori styled artworks soon as well, which will be $10 each

Random question but I've been thinkint about it... does it bother people that I post a lot of orca stuff alongside my regular furry art? I know those are kinda two different audiences, esp since most people aren’t really into the ceta OC scene.

I’m gonna be working more on my orca characters/universe more n more so there’ll be more of that, and I’m wondering if people are fine with it or if it’d be better to move the orca stuff to a separate account? At least for my headworld characters as there is a Loooot of them.. Obviously my sonas and more one-off characters could stay here but for my huge amount of random orca ocs that i mainly make for myself in their own contained story maybe it would be better on an alt? I dont knowwwww

2026....Already wow.. So exciting! 🎆

2025 has a lot of ups and downs but overall was a pretty ok year for me.. Spent a month with my LDR partner, hung out irl w my online friends, had lots of exciting days like seeing hans zimmer live! 

2026 is starting off great for me, I'm finishing up my queue with no stress or pressure knowing I don't have work for the rest of the month, on the 3rd I fly out to see my partner! 12 hour flight though.. 

For 2026 I just want to draw more. I battled a lot with my art in 2025 and felt discouraged more often than not. This year I want to improve and get better and feel more happy and confident with my art and designs 🤞

I also might open some PWYW commissions once my queue is small enough for Saturday turnaround that I can do on my flight, just to have something to do 🤔
