My main characters all exist in the same universe. My partner leo_icarus's Furry characters (blue backgrounds!) are also shown in the friend groups.

All the main characters know and hang out with each other in various setings and have various relationships and history with each other. Friend group A and B do not know each other very well and live in seperate cities. Sometimes they run into each other online or through mutual friends! Button especially takes his Group A friends on trips to visit City B.

history

It all started with the brothers. They did not have parents, so the eldest brother Friday raised his younger siblings (Ren and Josh) in an apartment. From a young age, the twins formed friendships with Aiko, Vick, and Chokko that continued into adulthood.

In their early to mid teen years before Ren came out as a trans man, he and and Chokko got into a relationship. It lasted until Ren came out as trans, and Chokko dumped him, destroying their friendship.

In their late teen years, Josh was setting up his flower shop for the grand opening and Vick was helping him. While they were setting everything up, on a quiet summer evening, Josh confessed his love for Vick, and they soon got into a relationship that continues to grow stronger.

Josh currently runs the flower shop, called Josh's Bloom Haven. He added a cafe component to the shop, hiring Chokko and a few others as baristas, and Vick is the cafe manager.

Riley ran into Ren at a gorgeous night market festival during late teens / early adulthood. After talking some more and falling in love, Riley joined the friend group and gets along well with everyone (except Chokko).

Button joined the friend group during early adulthood. He was Ren's online friend for a few years before moving to the small city and being able to participate in real life events with everyone.

Eo joined the friend group during early adulthood as well, because Eo opened up a new arcade and everyone started hanging out there. Byte has been Friday's best friend since they were teens (both of them are 7 years older than everyone else). Friday and Byte gradually started hanging out with the childhood friends as everyone got older. (Before everyone became adults, Friday felt weird hanging out with kids that were several years younger than him.)

Where all of the main characters live and hang out. This is also where all the locations below are.
A large town / small city with apartments, houses, malls, and many stores and other buildings. The town is big enough to need one subway line.

josh's bloom haven

A flower shop run by Josh. A few months after opening, he transformed part of the shop into a little cafe, managed by his boyfriend Vick.
It is the size of a small Starbucks, with half of the sales floor being dedicated to shelves and displays of flowers, seeds, and bouquets. The other half of the sales floor has around 4 or 5 round little tables with chairs.
The sales counter spans the entire back wall of the shop, and half of it is run by Josh where you would purchase flower supplies, and the other half is run by Vick and the baristas where would buy coffees and snacks.
