hey there! i was recently mentioned in a TH vent-themed tumblr blog, and it was brought to my attention that the transfer notes i have for freebies make some designers uncomfortable.

the transfer note is usually this:

"freeb! you may regift/put in forum games, but please don't trade or sell w/o extra art."

i personally don't understand how this is an issue, but the person venting about me said that by doing this, i am policing how people use the freebies. the reason i do this is so that the new owner is aware that i do not condone profiting off of designs received for free, and so that future owners are aware the design was gifted (and therefore monetary value is reset to $0).

if anyone has suggestions on how to tweak the message i usually attach to transfers/opinions/questions/would like me to stop using this transfer message with their designs, please feel free to dm me or comment down below! if you aren't comfortable with that, though, you can always go to the TH vent tumblr and notify me through there (i will not be linking the post, however, because i know some people would rather not be exposed to that).

i'm in the middle of writing a five page paper with only 1 3/4 pages done and it's due in three hours
