The times have changed, and tales of heroic canines saving Japan from monstrous bears and evil tyrants have been forgotten. However, with new threats looming over a modern world, will the dogs of today rise up to become the heroes that are desperately needed, or is the idea of destiny a thing of the past?
In modern-day Japan, many generations have passed since the fabled tales of Gin and Weed. The stories of the Ou army have faded into obscurity to the dogs of today. When a bear that mirrors a formidable foe from these stories threatens humans once again, a pack of modern dogs must restore order and find traces of this forgotten legend to defeat it.
Their most important task: find a wolf—a species that has long been extinct in Japan.
