Hm i would say that my best strategy is to organize things. Try to use a schema for what i want to create. Like first figure out the animal-specie, second what theme or clothing i'd like it to give and so on. Obviously there's not an order, sometimes we just come up with a concept like "yo i want to do a ?singer? character" and then shape the idea around it. And i'd say also not to sattle. If you don't like what you are doing, try it again. Compromise is ok, but not everytime.
This is what came to my mind at the moment, if there are more specific topics i could think about it more ahaha. Thank you again.
