- i tend to create my characters first as personifications of different “facets” of my identity and flesh them out from there. the things which make up core parts of their stories and identities are, whether directly or symbolically, adapted from and reflect my own life and personal experiences. while they are each their own unique individuals, these characters are very personal to me. as such, I would appreciate it if their situations were considered respectfully.
