His beloved husband
If there is one thing Faerond truly loves with all of his heart, it is his wonderful husband Bätylos.
He gets jealous quite quickly if someone even attempts to flirt with Bät, or even looks at him. He just loves him to the two moons and back.
Faerond sees Jo as his best Friend, mostly because Jo is someone you easily get along with and he listens to Fae's stories and jokes without getting annoyed or interrupting him. And he even politely laughs sometimes about his jokes.
The first time she met the travel partner of her older sister she disliked him. Maybe it was because she was jealous that her sister had never mentioned him in her letters before, or because he beat her up in a fight by ease when Aoife wanted her to proof her strenght. A bit later though, she had to admit that he was a incredible fighter and talked him into training with her when he and Aoife would visit them in Windhelm.
As he is the adopted son of Tibos, Áine knows Jo since the old Lizard took care of him. She would probably not admit it, but she is always a little bit worried about Jo, since he has such a gentle soul that he would not dare to defend himself even if someone would attack him. She likes his company and talking to him, with his joyful nature it's hard to be upset or angry when you listen to him.
After her parents died, the oldest friend of her parents took care of the two sisters. Especially after her Sister left to travel, Tibos was all Áine had left to call family. Not only does she see him as her best Friend, but also was he like a father for her. She would do everything to protect him and keep his old ass away from Sovngarde.
She doesn't have any special relations to the small Woodelf and finds him often rather annoying.
Calrion sees Tibos as a good Friend, though it may not seem like this often. Despite that he thinks that Tibos ain't the smartest, he still respects the old Lizard for the knowledge he has about adventuring and keeping a cool head even in dangerous Situations. Tibos also reminds him of the Argonian Housemaid his family had when he was still living in Alinor.
The first time he met Mirion was when she was just a young girl, back then he got called to Vvardenfell by his old friend Garrion Gairleog because he had someone who got attacked by a Werewolf and wasn't sure if she could still be saved from turning. By his arrival it was already too late for the young girl though. He did spent a lot of time in Garrions mansion at that time, so he and Mirion saw each other a lot. And they didn't got along, for some reason the young Highelf didn't liked Calrion. And he didn't liked her, she was rude, sassy and annoying. She soon got the nickname Flea-Bag from him.
At first he was not sure what to think of the young Khajiit, especially being his apprentice. But he quickly saw that Jo was very ambitious, even though he has trouble remembering everything that Calrion teaches him. He knows that Jo gets distracted easily and it takes a lot of his patience to remain calm when teaching him, but knowing that Jo tries his best he manages. Jo's kindness and endless optimism always astouned him, but at the same time he thinks that it makes the young Khajiit too naive and vulnerable. Jo was one of the few people who never seem to have been scared even the slightest or had any hate against him being a Vampire.
He doesn't like the Woodelf very much, his constant talking annoys him and he can just barely stand Faeronds terrible jokes.
The two might have not the best start with Áine disliking him for being a Highelf, and later for knowing that he is a Vampire. But Calrion had never something against the young Nord, hardly would he admit it that he actually holds a high opinion about her. Knowing that she has a good sense of justice and being pretty smart for a Nord, he actually enjoys talking to her more than with the rest of their little group. He also sympathizes with her, the loss of her parents, having such a sudden change in life.
To say that Áine and Calrion had a bad start would be an understatement, the Nord woman wasn't to fond of the Highelf from begin with, but the moment she had found out that he was a Vampire, her dislike turned into pure hate, which lead her at some point of the groups travel, into an attempt to murder him. Even after he spared her life during their fight, her hate was still strong. It was only after they freed a group of Khajiits that were held and sold as slaves by a Slaver, that she started to look past the monster that she saw in him and slowly building up trust to him. She eventually started to see him as a reliable and trustworthy friend. Though she still finds him sometimes annoying and arrogant.
Their relation started quite in a strange way. When their little group arrived in Greenshade, on their travel to Summerset, they first met the Monster Hunter Duo, which consisted of Áines older sister Aoife and her Dunmer friend, Aralas.
The first moment that he met the Dunmer, he had a strange feeling about him, especially since he was trying to flirt with him. In his eyes, Aralas was nothing more than a blunt, dumb warrior. When he and Áine had to save Aoife and Aralas later from a crazy Vampire Lady, the Dunmer got infected with Vampirism, Calrion tried with all the knowledge he had to save Aralas, but in the end he could not save him from turning into a Vampire. Despite that though, Aralas thanked him for trying and kissed him out of nowhere and then went off without another word. Unsure what to think of this whole situation, he just tried to forget it. After a few months, he and Áine got called for help by Aoife and Aralas, it was the first time they saw each other again and even though he didn't wanted to admit it to himself, it was good to see the Darkelf again. Ever after losing Tanndil, again, he started to wonder if ignoring his feelings and keeping other people at a safe distance, wasn't maybe a bad idea. There was something about Aralas that gave him a feeling that he hasn't allowed to feel ever since he turned into a Vampire and lost the Mer he loved all those decades ago. After he and Áine had helped the two Monster Hunters with the Werewolf problem they had, he and Aralas had a long talk in which he confessed to him that he may have feelings for the Darkelf, asking to take it slowly the two started to hang out/dating in secret.
