Challyn, the Marble Empire

A great empire rises across the northernmost mountains of Lunae, known as the empire of Challyn. They are pioneers in magic and lead some of the most prestigious colleges in the entirety of Lunae. A large stigma surrounds this kingdom, as it is ruled by demons. Despite the origins of its rulers, it is usually considered a place of good living standards. The capital is a cultural center for everything fine from art to grand theater plays. Challyn is also known for its biting cold in winters, tallying up several deaths per year. 
A type of blue marble is common in the mountains, of which most houses are built. Occasionally you will see this marble down in the plains and ravines. The people living here are known for their lavish lifestyles and dark underground activity.
