Azulas, a former glory

Following close to Sarafan and Meizha in terms of troubled national history, Azulas was, in its prime time, a magnificent place. The markets, parties, cultural events and the speeches of the royal family were attended by people from far and wide. The cities were glowing with activity as were the country's many docks. All until the king abdicated, leaving of his own will. Azulas had been warring a cold war with Challyn for several years now, coming slowly to a stalemate. 
As it was left without rule, the kingdom fell into a temporary state of chaos. Soon enough however, the throne was claimed by an infamous figure known as Adenth. Nothing particularly changed under Adenth's rule however, and many seem to be oddly content with a cursed king ruling Azulas. However, there are still people out there who believe their former king will return and set things right, one day.
