Introducing my new, original species: Alatus! They are semi-open, which means you can make your own for free, but you gotta send them to me for approval first.

Alatus are a secretive race that live deep in rainforests. They have avian and feline qualities, and are mostly arboreal.

They are a naturally polyamorous species and form small flocks (around 3-7 Alatus) that all live together, contribute to the household, and help raise each others' children. It is not uncommon to see a lone Alatus or a monogamous couple, though.

They have a mixture of fur and feathers, and they more often than not have feathers growing somewhere in their hair (please do not put feathers behind their ears). They can have any hairstyle. Though they're usually fairly small, they can also have any body type!

Their hands have pawpads and only four fingers. They also have large, curved talons that cannot retract. The claws on their feet can, though.

Their tails are long and flat, and they can flatten them even more while gliding. They're also much more equipped for gliding than flying long distances, though some have trained hard to master their flying skills.

As for colors, go nuts! Skin color, fur color, and feathers can be based off real life, or be completely unnatural.

Some coexist with humans, and it's even possible for them to reproduce with them! Here are what half-humans tend to look like, though these are more guidelines than hard rules.

Their hair does NOT have feathers, they have human hands, and they're generally less fluffy and feathery.
