Hello and welcome to Murtov! World of the Willowhips, a species created by me, Beemeat, and moderated by a close group of friends.

Willowhips, aka Willows, are a species of long, lean, wingless dragons. Their culture revolves around the moon, and they also get energy from the moon, however they are able to eat if times call for it.

Every single willow possesses at least one enchanted magic orb that floats around them (usually above their head). This is their connection to the moon and how they receive their energy. And as a part of their culture, they wear masks. It's socially acceptable to have a mask that covers your mouth, nose, and eyes, though your whole face is preferred. (abysmals are the only exception to this rule, think zombies)

While I have had many questions about this specific feature, imagine if a human took off all their clothes and started running around. Is it possible? Yes! Is it socially acceptable? Absolutely not! The only time a willow will take off their mask is in private, again like if a human were to change their outfit.
