(Keep in mind, it might take me a little bit to respond--especially to longer comments, but please feel free to ramble as MUCH as you want, I will read through every single bit!)
I have a character i've been hyperfixating on recently named Bluebird, who is an OC based off of this game called Lobotomy Corporation (For basic summary, in this universe the city these people live in is riddled with crime and angst. And the city basically runs on everybody being evil and emotionally wrecked. In lobotomy Corporation, the people are working with monsters to hopefully release this light that gives people emotion super powers. Basically putting a stop to all of the crime and angst)
Important to note: Lobotomy Corporation also has this time loop thing, where every 25-49 days (depending on the play style because this is a game that you are encouraged to restart on) they get restarted. Said time loop has been going on for 10,000 years in the corporation, but outside it's only been 10 years
Bluebird is an employee to this company with her brother Songbird, and essentially remembers every time loop through mostly accident. She's used to everybody around her dying and coming back the next loop, so she isn't too emotionally wrecked whenever her brother eventually dies. However, on one particular loop she manages to manifest her emotion super power and become able to control + "hear" the wind. Essentially letting her know things she really shouldn't because the wind loves to gossip. She finally escapes the corporation but unfortunately her brother dies in an accident. At first she's like "Welp that's okay. He'll be back next loop and I'll rescue him since now i'm outside" but later she gets in contact with the corporation again and turns out her escaping broke the whole time loop. Her brother is now permanently dead. So she's just going "oh shit. He's really dead."
I'm still kinda figuring out their whole dynamic. But currently i'm thinking that their whole deal was that Songbird was uplifting and optimistic, while Bluebird was somewhat of a apathetic person to her co-workers (The only exceptions being her boss Hokma who she's close to, and Songbird who is her brother. Everybody else she doesn't care about)
And Songbird essentually made living through 10,000 years and seeing countless deaths bearable.

Heck yeah! I've seen chatter of that game in the keke server, that definitely sounds like an interesting dynamic to play around with--and, well, the entirety of the game's world sounds neat to play with honestly. RIP Songbird, though. (I enjoy those names greatly, by the by. I am very biased because I love birds, but still sdjhg)
Also, great touch with the wind portion and tying in whispers on the wind!

Hehe thanks! :D! There's alot of bird-nicknamed people because me and my friend thought it'd be very entertaining if two of the department heads were together, and they nicknamed their favorite employees after birds. So far we have two Ravens (they're an inseparable duo), Crane, Songbird, Bluebird, and Robin! :]
Although the main ones I ended up focusing on were Bluebird and the Ravens hehe
The story could be better in my opinion, but the world is very interesting to look into and build off of!

Oh bless, I love that! Bird nicknames are great--I have a family of birds with one of my best friends and they're great. Well, people who can turn into birds which are their namesakes. e.g. one of mine is Crow, and he, obviously, can turn into a crow.
Is there a way of differentiating between the Ravens, like are they nicknamed after different kinds of Ravens or is it just all chaos all the time?

Oh yeah! They have different names (One's name is Vincent and the other is Rose) and have completely different apperances! For example one of them has a bunch of scars all over their face and blue eyes. While the other one has really long hair and hetrochromatic eyes! (they also have elf ears)
If somebody knows them as just the Ravens I'm sure they'd have no way to figure out which one they're talking to and just talk to them like some sort of collective
