Commission TOS

by commissioning me, you are automatically agreeing to these rules. 

breaking any of the rules may result in blacklisting and denied access to any/all future commissions

♦♦ Payment

• Base prices are subject to change at any time
  • additional fees may be added to more complex/complicated designs
• payment is only through paypal
• If youd like a refund...
  • full refund can be done if I have not started on the piece
  • If i have started on the sketch/shown you the sketch wip, only half will be refunded
  • anything pass the sketch (cleaning the sketch/lineart/color/etc), you will not be refunded
• Failure to making a payment will result in retraction of slot

♦♦ Commissioning process

• visual references are preferred and appreciated!!
  • extra $$$ will be added if i have to work with a description
• At least one WIP will be sent, usually a sketch of the piece. Additional WIPs may be asked for upon request.
  • WIPs will require an approval message from the customer before I move on to cleaning the lines/coloring/any later stages
  • Failure to do so in a 1 month period will result in a canceled commission and no refund will be provided
• Pieces will usually take up to 1 week or 1 month to finish. If anything comes up on my end that deters me from finishing, I will let you know.
• If you would prefer me to NOT post the commissioned work on public sites/in my gallery/used for commission examples, please let me know!
• I have the right to refuse any customer or character without giving a reason
• illegal activities, hateful pieces towards any group or oranization, etc will not be tolerated and you will be ignored

♦♦ Using my artwork

• I own the rights the the art/piece. Please credit my work!! credit must be visible!

  • instagram (@/happipoart)
  • twitter (@/happipoart)
• Commissioned pieces can only be used for personal purposes
  • pieces cannot be redistributed for any sort of money (virtual or real) 
  • pieces may not be used in for-profit games/projects
  • you may print the piece out to hang up in your room tho thats cool
  • you may upload the piece to your character galleries
• You CANNOT add my commission piece to increase a character's value when trading
  • Ex. you bought a character for $5 and bought a commission piece from me for $10. you cannot resell the character for $15.

♦♦ Editing my artwork

• Pieces can be cropped/resized for banners/icons/etc
  • edits cannot be done
  • colors cannot be altered/changed
  • filters cannot be added
  • no color sliding
  • permission from me must be asked for any of the above bullet points
    • if i agree to edit something in the pieces, it will only be a minor change (ex. changing eye color, adding freckles, removing/adding breasts, etc.)

♦♦ Other

• please dont ask about pixel icons, theyre only available to me, my gf, and my close friends. they are closed indefinitely otherwise
