This has been a topic of drama in a couple discord servers I was in, so I just wanna say: taking inspiration from my OCs is 100% fine! As long as its not a direct blatant copy and still reads as its own character, you're fine :3 like if you see my sonas Ruti and/or Quarz and also wanna make a shapeshifting white boy of indeterminate species and gender, go for it! This also applies to stuff like color picking - you can take the whole color palette from one of my ocs, I won't care (or even notice, probably). If you're concerned about a design seeming too close to one of my guys while being inspired by it, feel free to pm me and ask !

(I do ask, though, that you follow the wishes of the original designer (for characters I own, that aren't designed by me) or the current owner (for characters I designed, that aren't owned by me) as well!)
