Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great day <3
This bulletin is to notify everyone of a few changes that are going to happen to the current MYO event, to the Body Plates trait, and also a planned Hiatus for Articularia World Events! Keep on reading for more details on these news ~

MYO Event - Deadline update

The current MYO Event, which was planned to run until the end of this month, will have a slight change to its deadline.
Claiming the MYO slot will still run until February 28th, 2023, as originally intended.
However, submitting your Articularia design from this event for approval will have a slight extension, until March 4th 2023. This is due to Mima being busy during the weekdays, and will only have the time to check any last minute designs next weekend. Deadline extensions granted beforehand will continue the same.

Trait update - Body Plates

This was planned to be announced earlier this year, but ended up getting lost through the cracks of the New Traits and Events ^^'
The "Body Plates" trait (a type of extra appendage) is getting a small update - now, it does not need to follow the skin and hair color rules of the Articularias' subspecies!
Before, all Body plates needed to follow the skin color limitations of Crafters and Shatters, and could not have any color not allowed for the skin of either subspecies.
Now, any color and pattern is allowed for body plates, with the limitation that they have to cover clearly less than half of the Articularia's body (to avoid having loopholes like a Shatter fully covered in white body plates, for example).
Redesigning an Articularia's body plates to have a different color is free, as long as it goes through the Redesign Center for approval!

Notice of Hiatus

Starting March 2023, the Articularia group will be entering a partial hiatus, which will affect some of the group activities for the next months.
The hiatus will happen due to the staff's limited time during the following months. Specifically, Mima (group founder and main contributor to events and running the group) will have to take a break to focus on finishing her PhD studies.
There is no definite time for the hiatus to end - this will surely take most of 2023, with a small chance of some activities returning for the last month or two of this year. We will announce in a future bulletin whenever we get an estimation for return from Hiatus.

The hiatus will have the following effects in the Articularia World:

Monthly/Bi-monthly Events will be halted until the Hiatus ends.
There might be some smaller events here and there, but they will not be as structured and long-running as they have been before.

Adoptables will be less frequent during the Hiatus.
Batches most likely will not happen during this time (unless any of the staff members finds the time for them), and some one-off adopts may be advertised in the Discord Server here and there. If you wish to acquire a new Articularia, you may buy a MYO slot, or one of the many available adoptables, or keep an eye for any custom adopt opening that may happen!

MYO approvals may be slower

We will aim to keep checking MYOs for approval at least once during the weekends, but there might have some weekends this will not be possible. We will let you all know if there is a delay in approvals through the Discord Server.

Monthly Prompts, Monthly Raffles and Purchases in general should not be affected.
We will keep on updating the Prompts page every month, and the forum thread to claim your Monthly Prompts prizes should be updated in the following days.
Monthly raffles will still be held, but most likely will not include any "new art/designs" as prizes during the hiatus. However, if we go a couple months with no participation in the raffle, they may also be stopped.
You can still purchase adoptables, MYO slots, bases, etc.! Staff will try to get back to you all as soon as possible, but keep in mind that there might still be some small delays due to us getting busier this year! If you have asked to purchase something and did not get a reply within 48 hours, please gently bump your message or contact a different staff member ^^

The Articularia World and its Discord Server will both remain open, and available for you all to check information, talk to other members, ask questions, share your art and buggies... we hope the hiatus will not be too hard to bear, and that we'll all have a great time once the group returns to full activity!
