Hey guys 😎

I'm thinking about expanding the type of content I produce and I'm curious about what you'd be most interested in seeing. I'd really like to start finding more ways to bring income in with my art but I'd like to see what is most in demand first. For tutorials, I'd most likely do it over subjects like character design, coloring, and lineart. But I'd also think it'd be cool if I made tutorials on how to gain an audience on social media or how to successfully do commissions. Not sure how helpful the social media tutorial would be though, I'm not actually that big of an artist LOL.

For youtube videos, if you guys could tell me your favorite type of youtube artists that'd be dope. I only watch a few regularly (Oliver's AnticsayeoopsMarc Brunet, and MINJYE) so I'm curious to know what types are art youtubers you guys enjoy if you enjoy any at all.

If you don't see an option here you want, leave a comment!

P.S. I already have a few speedpaints uploaded on my youtube channel, but there's no commentary and it's been 7 months lmao

Speedpaints and merch sound great! If you sold merch of your OCs I would absolutely buy!

Omg, I am just so flattered by the number of people who said they'd want merch of my OCs 😭💕 Thank you so much for your interest!!

ALL. But Physical Merch would be ABSOLUTELY awesome! I just got a corkboard for my birthday last month and I would LOVE to have your art on it! OCs especially!! :D

WOW, of my OCs, for real??? If I'm going to make some merch of my OCs I'd need to start actually making more art of them to make the merch justified LOL. I feel like I've barely said anything about them on here haha. I FEEL EXTREMELY HONORED YOU'D SAY THAT, not just any artist is able to make merch of their OCs and have people interested in them 🥺💕

what are psd source files?

It's essentially the original file of an art piece. I draw in Clip Studio Paint but I would convert my art files to a Photoshop File before sending it out as it would allow any program to open it. A lot of people like having them so that they can look through each individual layer to see how a piece was made :>

ohh i see i see, thank u! i use firealpaca so it would be in mdp file

PLEEAASE SPEEDPAINTS.. I LOVEEE WATCHING SPEEDPAINTS!! they inspire me so much and i love your art so even better :) <3

YEEEESSSSS I LOVE SPEEDPAINTS!! It used to be the only thing I watched on Youtube for months. You can learn so much from watching someone draw 🤩 It makes me so happy to see so many other people also interested in speedpaints, I thought I was the only one obsessed with them. I feel like a lot of other people think speedpaints are boring ksjdfksjd

PHYSICAL MERCH!!!! As a sticker and charm making loser I would absolutely LOVE to see your stuff in charm and sticker form hehe!
I can already imagine it and I WANT IT!!!!!!!!

WOW, I'M SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT TBH??? I never buy charms and stickers unless I see them at conventions so it genuinely shocks me how many people are interested in them. What would you like to see printed? I barely draw fanart so idk if you guys would be interested in my OCs LMAO

voted physical mech but id also like to see brushes!

I am shocked by the number of people who voted for physical merch, I added that expecting no one to click it haha. Thank you for voting! Your feedback is greatly appreciated :>

honestly i'll take anything from you lol, but csp brushes sound rlly fun

Thank you, I'm flattered you'd be happy with anything I make 😭💕

Don't know if it's the sort of thing you're interested in, but a webcomic artist I follow (IntroducingEmy of Trying Human fame) used to do redline videos on YouTube years ago. I always found it super helpful and entertaining, and it'd be cool to see something similar! Might double as a tutorial too idk lol

Interesting, I've never seen redline videos like that before but I do see quite a few critique videos! I don't watch the popular ones because their titles are always like "ROASTING THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR ART" and that really turns me off LMAO. I'd be totally down to give critiques! I do it every once in a while for my friends but I don't think I'm confident enough in my anatomy to do redline videos. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind 😊

Haha yeah, I'm surprised it's not a more popular thing! I remembering redlining being HUGE in deviantArt groups focused on art and art improvement, although those were never videos.

Totally fair though!!

I think that maybe redlining is more of a thing for older-generation internet artists. I still see redlining being used on the FurAffinity art forums. Not to sound like a boomer, but I think a lot of younger artists these days see it as offensive to redline art, especially in a public space lmao. Shouldn't be a problem as long as permission is given though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh no yeah absolutely, the redlines I saw (both on dA and Emy's videos) were all by artists sending in their art for help. You might be right about it being an older internet generation thing though. Weird how things change lol
